I'm not a leave voter, I'm not a full Farage fan. I'm not an EU supporter, I was a supporter of working together more than apart. Since 2020 I support leaving the EU and will not vote conservative at present or Labour, def not Liberal. I do believe 100% we the free people are under serious attack, I'd say no different from others in 1930s but I will not accept people telling me how to live my life and control my life. NEVER. This week has shown the world exactly where we are heading.

Yes that will work - we must tell the eu that the 40% of our total food we import from them must be imported on our terms. Take a look at what we import and export - other than financial services the EU would manage ok without us in reality. And in addition to that 40% another 15% of our food is imported from elsewhere travels through the EU.

When we had the first referendum in the 70s, I was for remaining, at that time, I reflected on the world evolving, recognised that the UK was a small country. Was slowly losing its global influence, China, India, South America and Russia were on the political horizon. I saw the Economic Community as a move towards a more secure future. I also envisaged a single currency and a unified Europe, but I also recognised that such a transition would take many years beyond my lifetime. By the 2016 referendum, I realised how wrong I was, it is now obvious that a single currency and economic model does not fit every country, that ideologies cannot be easily unified, nor the important sense of national identities. The EU has become a monster with the sole intention of controlling and dictating 500m people, with total disregard to their wellbeing or prosperity.

Great speech, I to get kicked out of pubs for backing Trump and proving he has been right the whole time as most of my friends are liberal minded, definitely close minded and stare awkwardly into space as I talk to them.
