This man will be England's prime minister. As things are going there will be no more UK, as Scotland and Northern Ireland are leaving. London might become independent as well. Watch the news.

+Axel Schultz Raises a conversation but essentially Northern Ireland will get lukewarm about being latched onto one of the PIIGS and Scotland will think twice when they start to consider the budget and currency implications etc of being in EU as Scotland as opposed to as part of UK

+Axel Schultz I don't know what makes you think that he will become the British Prime Minister, as he's not even a member of Parliament. It would be great if he did, but you're not being realistic by expecting it to actually happen.

+a Arts "most people in the uk at this moment want to stay in the eu" Clearly this is not true. they just had a vote, and the leave side won by 4%. Voter turnout was 70% which is really high. The USA is not part of the EU and we are doing pretty well. historically we have done better than all of europe. This idea that prosperity can only be found inside the EU is nonsense.

Umm, no it will be a period of great strife and troubles with the POTENTIAL to achieve peace and prosperity in the future. They got a lot of Socialism / Cultural Marxism / diversity baggage they need to jettison before they can become prosperous again, and the odds are still against them IMO. There was no chance had they stayed in the EU however, which is either going to implode or become an autocratic superstate.

no way man, the EU and all it's parasites will run like dock rats as it crumbles into the history books as a failed political agenda of lazy rampant idiots who hoped to live on the backs of real hard working people... Nigel hit the nail on the head when he described them as people who had no idea what a real job was, hard work or even how to create a job. All those chairs for all those politicians. Sad really that it is still going on for the moment.. those people should be stripped of their wealth they stole from the masses they have been screwing over. Soon the other countries will realise this as well and the dock rats will have to find another parasitic gig or actually go find a real job.

+Twisted with Power there is one simple thing. The welfare state is not free, you need people to work and pay for it, you need people to be able to have institutions such as ESA (European Space Agency) There is not a single European country big enough to afford those things, that is why EU was such a great idea. Before every doctor, Engineer... had to go to USA where they could develop a big career, now USA is only one more option because EU can offer that (plus a much better quality of life) Tell me, how UK or France or Germany or whoever would pay for all that research. This is only an example of what EU means for us as individuals because not all of us have a degree in politics, economy or law to understand everything behind belonging or not to EU

It's in Europe's best interests to trade with an independent Britain, and the wheels of commerce won't stop turning, just because the EU has been knocked on it's backside.

Nigel Farage always speaks truth to power in the European Parliament, the big difference is this time, the European MEPs couldn't just ignore him.

Well UK is the customer,. (It imports more from EU than it exports to EU.) And should EU decide to continue with their brat manners there are lots of providers all over the world who will happily sell to UK. I would love to see UK stick the middle finger towards EU by trading with Russia just for the lols...

Here in France, we have Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, a politician who wish to change the UE or leave it if we can't change it. Same ideas, same ways, and the both (with Nigel) are friends. Thank you so much Mister Farage for this way you opened to other nations in Europe like France who want to find again their freedom! Debout La France / Ukip , same battle, same victories i hope! Congrats to British!

The reason I personally find Farage to be the greatest politician on Earth is that he tells the truth and shares his honest opinions on matters. This is why so many individuals like myself find Farage to be a true Englishman, he simply could sit in the EU Bureaucracy for the rest of his career and remain a wealthy man. Instead, he has seen what damage a Nation-State Government like the EU can do to member countries willingly with no respect for the voices of the population of the citizens of that member nation. The EU has always pandered to London bc it needs the financial backing of the city, the EU has ignored the needs of the rest of England. This is why the country is divided, certain individuals love the EU without really having a single positive thing to say about it. Most young individuals here in England think the NHS is the greatest thing about THE EU AND THE UKS MEMBERSHIP! These individuals are thick as bricks, they have been pandered to for too long. It's time for change.

As much as I loved this speech by Nigel I can't help thinking gloating was a bad idea. These are the people we need to give us a favourable trade deal. This is a place we have to cooperate with. They are our friends, allies and brothers. We shed our blood to save them from tyranny. We would do it again in a heartbeat. On another note I hope other countries follow the example of the UK and hold their own referendums. Even if the people of Europe choose to stay they need their say on the project. What started off as a single market designed to keep peace and cooperation between historically hostile countries has evolved into a monster: headed by Germany to become a super power. Talk of an EU army to rival that of Russia is extremely alarming. I'd like to say to my brothers in Europe that we still want to be friends. I would also plead to them to not let the calls for your own referendums be hijacked to hateful bigoted morons.
