Nielsen Disc grinder system is best I’ve used. It’s the most accurate true running removable disc grinder I’ve seen made. It saves me hours of hand sanding blades and saves lots of money on sandpaper. I use multiple discs( because the steel discs are quite economical) for multiple grits of sandpaper. Saves time and money. I actually contact cemented a 1/16” or 1/8” piece of rubberized cork onto the steel discs. This gives a bit of cushion to push against with the knife blade. I’d give this grinder set up a 10 out of 10. Very accurate, economical to purchase, economical for saving costs on sandpaper and an absolute time saver on hand sanding knife blades.

I had to have the guys over at OBM machine my shaft down to fit it. But they took care of me like they always do.

@@OutdoorGearDad what shaft? Your motor shaft, the 5/8” arbor with the keyway? How was the table not initially fitting with the Neilson? You lost me here. Not sure you understood what I was referring to.

How thickness is a flat disk please??
