Oh yeah! Here's yet, another one of my old time favorites! I was 15, maybe 16 years old when this masterpiece of a song came out. Back then, the performers: the singers could actually sing where, in most cases, you could really "feel" the words coming out of their mouth where it was full of substance......and the musicians actually played "real" instruments - unlike so much unnecessary computer-related "noise" that's generated inside of a studio. This song TRULY exemplifies well-rounded auditory pleasure to be enjoyed, again, gain and again - even in August, 2024.

To all you producers out there: listen to that mix. Everything is balanced and leveled. The bass isn't in the way of the drums, the guitar isn't mixed over the vocal and the percussion isn't in anyone's way. This is a masterclass on how to make a professional record.

@@richardlong8014If the Lord would allow, I would ask Him to transport me back to this innocent time of 1972 through 1979 and keep repeating it over and over. All of my friends and family were alive and well. We had no hardships of any kind. Love and laughter filled our homes with joy. Ages 11 through 18 were the best years of my life. Now, nearly 50 years later, I am 63 years old, with no children, never married, and everyone that I have ever loved have all passed away. I look forward to absolutely nothing any longer. Just waiting to die to be with all of my deceased family and friends.

Oh yeah! Here's yet, another one of my old time favorites! I was 15, maybe 16 years old when this masterpiece of a song came out. Back then, the performers: the singers could actually sing where, in most cases, you could really "feel" the words coming out of their mouth where it was full of substance......and the musicians actually played "real" instruments - unlike so much unnecessary computer-related "noise" that's generated inside of a studio. This song TRULY exemplifies well-rounded auditory pleasure to be enjoyed, again, gain and again - even in August, 2024.
She had it all, looks, natural charm, a voice that could melt icebergs. (RIP GORGEOUS LADY) ❤

To all you producers out there: listen to that mix. Everything is balanced and leveled. The bass isn't in the way of the drums, the guitar isn't mixed over the vocal and the percussion isn't in anyone's way. This is a masterclass on how to make a professional record.

When I was doing high school through the 70's I knew it was a good time to be alive, but I didn't know what we really had, back in the day this was just a nice song with a beautiful vocalist, little did I know this period of time was just splash in the pan moment in time, never to return, GOD rest her soul.

@@richardlong8014If the Lord would allow, I would ask Him to transport me back to this innocent time of 1972 through 1979 and keep repeating it over and over. All of my friends and family were alive and well. We had no hardships of any kind. Love and laughter filled our homes with joy. Ages 11 through 18 were the best years of my life. Now, nearly 50 years later, I am 63 years old, with no children, never married, and everyone that I have ever loved have all passed away. I look forward to absolutely nothing any longer. Just waiting to die to be with all of my deceased family and friends.
Natural beauty at its finest. Even her voice. A woman's glory is her hair. She had a lot of glory. She was never loaded with makeup. She is truly missed.
