    You can’t make that population argument because Jamaica is extremely successful in track and field at the global levels. Finishing as high as first second and third at world tracking field championships and Olympics in number of track and field medals with an extremely small population when compared to most other countries globally. And while Jamaica has 10 times the population of say Barbados for example it does not send ten times the number of athletes at the Carifta Games

    Yes! I believe this is more about race than population. Jamaicans and Black Americans have mastered the art, but more respect to the Jamaicans as resources and non comparable to the Americans.

    the age best for 400m at 116 is a whopping 2+ seconds faster, and a US kid almost broke it last weekend at 45.19.

    Congrats to Nickecoy Bramwell from Jamaica on winning the 400 meters U-17 Boys 400 m and to Jamaica for Winning 51st Carifta Games with a total of 84 medals. 45 Gold, 23 Silver and 16 Bronze. Jamaica has won 46 of the 51 Carifta games the lost time we've lost was 1984.🖤💚💛

A country's flag is sacred and should be treated with utmost respect. Please observe the different international events; the Olympics or World Championship. You will never see athletes from other countries dragging their country's flag on the ground. There is respect for a country's anthem and flag that should never be comprised.

    Bramwell opened his season in january with a 46.75 and has been battling a hamstring injury ever since. It is very likely that had he not been facing injury he would have also ran in the 45 second range. hes also 16
