With both teams being excellent I think it will also come down to which is so often over looked, is how effizient the baton hand off are. Even in the 4×100 one bad hand off could cost the win.Both teams know this and hopefully practice over and over on a smooth and fast transition in the hand off. .Kalif 🌅

Well he said TT but most likely US will probably put gabby Thomas there at 2nd or 3rd leg seeing she is already at relay practice. The US has a better chance to win this year than they did last year. Last year no one in the relay won an individual medal that year and they still won with an inferior team. This year at least two possible individual medalist are gonna be on the relay team.

Well this race is done and dusted and the winner is....................................the USA. Like the women's 100m final, a lot of 'youtube trackiees' have much to say and excuses to make about Jamaica's loss to the US AGAIN. The fact of the matter is, despite the belief that if ETH was included the result would have been different, the result of the last Championship 4x100 race should close that argument down. The FACTS are, last year the US won with a group of 3 college attendees and 1 experienced 200m sprinter against a Jamaican team that consisted of the top 3 finishers in the 100m final a few days earlier and this time around the US had an even better team in SR, GT, TT Terry and Tamara Davis. This US team not only won gold but posted the 4th FASTEST 4 x 100m women' relay time EVER and they did not have HALF a decent pass in the baton exchanges as did the team last year. Say what you want, the writing was on the wall as early as the heats when a US team WITHOUT both Gabby and Sha 'Carri still ran faster than the Jamaican team that included ETH, Brianna and SFP. Yep, the heats were early indication that the Jamaicans were not winning this unless the US dropped the baton.
