Absolutely. He didn't mention it once. Our defense was flat out overwhelming, particularly in the 1st half. Bama was not expecting that amount of pressure.

Was an awesome game. This is one of Nick sabans best coaching jobs ever. Brand new coordinators on both sides. Didn’t know who our qb was a couple games in… in week 3, everyone said this was sabans worst team ever and couldn’t wait to play Alabama.. we beat all our rivals and nobody wanted to play them by the end of the year. I agree with 60% of your statement!!! Alabama has been pissing in the garden for years!!! Now, everyone is doing it, so it balance out. Under the new format, the SEC will have three/four permanent slots reserved. The usual suspects, Alabama, Georgia, and most likely Auburn or Florida. And a similar scenario will play-out in/for the BIG10. The remaining 5/6 slots will be up for grabs!!!!

Michigan had the better team, tied or were a little behind at quarterback, and had a much worse head coach and offensive coordinator today........but still won. Milroe outplayed McCarthy and Michigan's offensive play-calling for about 35 minutes in the middle of the game was as horrible as you could possibly get.

I think it came down to inches and the inches went Michigans way. They outplayed us in the first half, we outplayed them in the second. But then they finished and we didn’t.

I love Coach Saban, always a class act. This is from a Michigan Alum.

This was a very good, close game. The fact that Alabama gave 100% effort to the very end, against a #1 team, still makes them as worthy a team as ever.

Too bad a committee didn't pick the teams for the next game, you would still get it.

They boo boo faced and decided to give up and honestly let their team get embarrassed. FSU showed everyone who they were against uga. Saw the game live it was amazing

As a Michigan man I saw some very good coaching on both sides. Alabama got controlled by Michigan the first half, but Michigan did not cash it in for points. Second half Alabama played field position excellent and turned it into a lead. Although Michigan controlled both sides of the ball most of the time, special teams was Alabama and the difference for much of the game. In the end Michigan over powered Alabama

It has to be awesome playing for Coach Sabin, he is on the Mt Rushmore of greatest Coaches. Every time I hear him speak he makes sense and has great takes. I say this as a rival fan. Michigan has the Best defense and defense wins championships that and controlling the line. The championship is going to be a great game but I have Michigan. I want Washington but I think Blue is going to take them.

A professional throughout with class. Still an incredible season. They were supposed to win the Natty, but came up short in the last 5 minutes. They beat Georgia last month, who has not lost a single game since December 4th, 2021 (Insane Stat) They have an excellent foundation for next year. Give Milroe some time to develop during training camp, and they will be back next year.

Doesn't matter that they weren't allowed to cheat he last part of the year, that doesn't undo the past 2 years and clearly completely changed the trajectory of that program and Harbaughs career. Everyone seems to forget that Harbaugh was as bad as James Franklin at not winning big games prior to 2021 when they started cheating and many Michigan fans were clamoring for Harbaugh to be fired and likely would have if he didn't play sick to avoid getting blown out by OSU again in 2020. That was nick Saban best coaching considering he didn't have the go to guy on offense and defense this team really got better as the season progress I'm not a Bama fan but hats off to them for a great season normally I be against them but I was pulling for them against Michigan

That was NOT our worst O perfromance lol. It was at one point looking bad, but overall it did well. Maryland game was worse. Maybe Iowa game as well. Special Teams on the other hand, easily their worst outing.

So missed blocks from the O-line don't count as mistakes in your eyes? Look, both teams made a lot of mistakes and a lot of good plays. That is what happens when 2 great teams play each other. No reason to try and sell your opponent short or prop up your team unnecessarily. Michigan was the better team for this game and that's that.

@grundel3 This game was super clean.1 turnover a piece.Only 2/3 penalties on each team.Getting out schemed/or outplayed up front isn't making mistakes.Alabama definitely didn't make any mistake as egregious as the muffed punt or the extra point snap.Does not even get to OT without that snap.More drops etc..Only big miscue from bama was the bad snap drive but those happened from midfield.Points weren't imminent.

I went into today wanting anybody, but Alabama to win the championship. Just wanted someone new to win, but Alabama scared me, just felt like they couldn't lose again. While they lost this year, they are going to be so good next year.
