Trade this Robertson for the Dallas Robertson

Trade him to Winnipeg for that McGroarty kid that wants out of there.

Robertson has been upset with how he’s been getting used, makes sense. Cowan/Minten will replace him no problem.

Leafs fans be saying: "Trade Nick to Dallas to join his brother with Woll and a first round pick for Otteinger."

His trade could solve the Kampf issue and free up more money or Reeves.

The problem Nick Robertson faces is it just might be time for the Toronto Maple Leafs to show they're not going to cater to them in every way like Kyle Dubas did. He might very well get used as an example by management to others that the team isn't messing around.

His request should be granted. He can be an useful player on other teams. Leafs do not have good 3rd or 4th line players to match his role unless they put him on the top 2 lines

He is just another Bracco, trade him before his value is lost like Bracco.

Robertson middle six guy with a nice shot and speed. Should be used as a cap retention piece in a three team trade. He’d get a really good look and time to grow on lower echelon teams (Chi, SJ, ANH). The leafs should take a flyer on Alex Nylander, same type of player with more size and a older brother to push him.

Keefe totally mismanaged this kid Robertson it's a damn shame. When you have a kid who has scoring upside you let him play find suitable roles for him where his skills can show through. Play him with other skilled players don't bury him on the 3rd or 4th line or in the press box! How can a 22 yr old develop by sitting all it does is ruin his confidence. 5 on 5 he has produced & he has only been given like 10 mins of play & yet he still showed at 5 on 5 he can get pts. Keefe ruined his confidence i don't blame Robertson for wanting out. With that being said i really hope Berube can restore his confidence bc you can't keep giving up on all your young players/prospects when they go to other teams & breakthrough there! At some point the Leafs need to stop trading away the future & develop these kids like Robertson see what he can do with Matthews or Nylander or Marner for 10 to 15 games without sitting him or ruining his confidence. Robertson is a hell of a lot better than Kampf he has more upside than Jarnkrok too. I am very bullish on Robertson look how Dallas has treated his brother they see the potential was there. Not saying that the Leafs Robertson is as good as his brother but given the chance he produces 5 on 5 the stats show it & what if he played 20 mins instead of 10?🤔? Leafs always do this they either don't give the young kids any hope or they cottle them too much play the damn kid so he doesn't wish to leave the organization all together. It's a damn shame how Robertson has been treated from Keefe & others he is a smart kid who has lots of potential to get way better he is only 22.

The damage DUmBASs has done to the Leafs will last many years. He's right up there with Harold Ballard.

He’s gonna score 25 goals with Seattle when they swap him for a % retained Yanni. Needs regular ice time on a third line

Leafs bottom 6 still not good enough with Robertson or without him ,still so many holes to fill, the defense is a good start nex the forwards

He got screwed by the cap. he makes too much to be on the team all the time. he needs to accept a pay cut. Then he would be on the team full time. With no ice time he is screwed.

The 4 players the Laughs must have Traded, Holberg, Yarnkrok, Liligren, and Kampf, they resigned, what a joke all 4 are absolutely Pathetic

This is the attitude that has let the Leafs down from the cup giving up on all the young talent 22 yrs old everyone just ready to trade him or ruin his confidence but if thet trade him somewhere else he will become a much better player just like most of the other players the Leafs have gotten rid of. Leafs fans just want to ruin 22 yr old kids confidence. Nobody every thinks that Berube can teach him other areas of the game that can help him improve. How the f is Robertson gonna get better playing on the bottom six woth Kampf WTF are leafs fans so stupid. Yet he still has produced 5 on 5 when only playing 10 mins a game bc Keefe was to stupid to see the kids upside. Keefe playing him than sitting him only hurts a 22 yr olds development. Imagine if Dallas treated Jason Robertson the way the Leafs have with his brother... Dallas would have ruined Jason's confidence but Dallas is smart they played him lots & is Jason the best defensive forward NO he isn't but he can score as his brother can score.

I think he thinks he’s better than he is. He clearly has a knack for scoring but he’s far from a complete player

Plenty of chances Keefe only played him barely 10 mins & yet he still produces. Did Keefe ever play him continuously with the core 4 more than 10 mins NO. Keefe ruined his confidence. You just gonna give up on 22 yr old who can score. No wonder they haven't won a cup in over 55 plus yrs. 🙄

too small, when he playED like Domi he got injured, now he plays like j skinner.

Even if he didn't, he's not a league minimum player and that's what you have cap space for.

Trade him, If you watch him play he really only cares about himself, watch when he scores goals, no one really celebrates with him...I don't think he's very liked in the locker room. Just something I noticed last year...

Robertson is smart! He knows this team is a joke! The Leafs need to start playing hardball with the so called big 4, funny, teams like Tampa don't mind telling BETTER players than Marner there's the door! Steven Stamkos was let go the sign somewhere else, the Leafs should TELL Marner Look it didn't work here, we need you to lift your no move, if you don't show him a list of things you are going to do to make his life miserable. The Players CAN'T run the asylum! These players should have made huge strides by now and they haven't, if Marner can't accept he is part of the problem than make an example of him!!!!

Leafs is still a broken team going nowhere this upcoming season. Mark my words. They won't get past the 1st round again 😂

It's tough, his defensive awareness is quite lacking and in the D zone he's often swimming. He's a great goal scorer, but it's been difficult to find a spot for him in the top 6. If he sticks around this year, he might get more of an opportunity in the top 9.

Defensive liability, too small and weak on the puck, doesn't contribute unless he scores, 1 point in 10 playoff games. I sympathize with him wanting more ice time but he has a long way to go and doesn't fit in the lineup.

Under Berube I bet he gets better defensively & if given a real chance Robertson can produce but not on the 3rd or 4th lines play him on one of the top two lines & watch his pts go up. Leafs & fans are so quick to just give up on a 22 yr old kid who shows flashes of skill when he plays. Berube can restore his confidence & if he plays more than 10 mins he will make a difference but not playing with Kampf or Jarnkrok! Robertson needs to play consistently with other skilled players to actually show what he can do offensively.

Elite shot, brings nothing else to the table. Not heavy, not defensively responsible or intelligent, not very strong on skates, doesn’t hit, small guy, doesn’t fight, average in transition, not known for playmaking ability, but my god… whatta shot!
