True words. We have a neighbor who is a retired mechanic and avid hunter, and he takes great care and pride in helping out the whole block with repairs. Cars, water heaters, electric generators, lawn mower repair, power outages, missing roof shingles, loose stones in a walkway, whatever you need an expert pair of hands with, he's available to help. And that's brought the whole neighborhood together. Now we have one guy who does upholstery across the road, my mom is a retired nurse and dietician making meals for people, someone has a toolshed with whatever power tools you need, my dad has woodworking equipment, and another guy around the corner likes to fix watches and tinker toys. Kids take their bikes over to him and have him fix it up, and the kids reciprocate by doing yard work or shoveling snow for the neighbors in winter. It gets you thinking about the people around you when you offer to repair something for them. It builds relationships with the people that live around you. We can't lose those connections or that craftsmanship.

I am part of the "twin" village and Nick's dad was my 8th grade Social Studies teacher --- his dad was and still one of my favorite teachers that I ever had. I see a lot of his dad in Nick.

Most probably one of the coolest dudes that ever lived, and this interview only cemented that for me. What a legend.

Sean is the perfect person to host this show and I notice it every episode I watch. He’s so knowledgeable, very well spoken, and you can tell he’s truly excited and grateful to be connecting with the people he has on the show. He deserves this position!!!

It's hilarious how he's got this low resonant voice, witty urbane vocabulary, penetrating stare, buttoned down with a dry humor, then something cracks him up and he has this totally goofy laugh!

I love how even when he disagrees or prefers a more hand's on, practical approach to things, he makes sure to give credit where credit's due and acknowledges the appealing side to some of these contemporary conveniences.

I don't think anything draws me to this show more then how the guests react to Sean's questions... like the moment they get asked a question that clearly shows Sean isn't just a talk show host / media guy interviewing them. It's gotta be so refreshing for the guests to get asked questions like Sean does. Also Nick is the man!

Nick Offerman is one of my favorite people. I'm not always into his work, although I love some of it, but he's just so unique, so interesting, so genuine, and he just clearly examines life and has a lot figured out.

His laugh is totally different than the rest of his character and it's hilarious.

Doesn't have to be physical, but mental too. If you can fix a car, or a sad person, or a sick person, you are a better member of society. You don't have to be a doctor or a mechanic but you just need to be able to fix some things.

People are building stuff, people are coming up with ideas to clean up the mess humanity has made, it's just that the gov. isn't funding green innovation and technology. You can clean a small beach with some friends but you can't clean the trash islands in the middle of the ocean that are only getting bigger each day. Many engineers would love to be working on sustainability projects but apparently, it's not valuable if it's not profitable.

I would really like to see Rainn Wilson do this challenge.

I watched an interview with his wife (not sure if it was Fallon or Conan) and the topic of Nicks laugh came up, her describing his giggle had me dying. Honestly, his laugh is unexpected but hilariously delightful! Side note... Nick and Megan are couple goals 😍😄
