Nick and I worked together as waiters in Toronto back in the day. The sweetest, funniest, best guy you could know. We used to have a laugh singing during our shifts. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Carolina Ayala we worked at the Drake Hotel on Queen West along with a lot of other great folks. Nick wasn’t there a long time but he made a heck of an impression on everyone he worked with.

Tbh,I think he would've rather been resting at home w/his wife& baby. This is so sad & w/better government management,couldve been prevented. I wish so much love on his loved ones & the legacy he left.

I am utterly heartbroken that Nick passed away today. All I could do was cry while watching this incredible joy unfold for them on their wedding day. They didn't even get 3 full years together. It's not fair. My heart goes out to Amanda & their young son. ❤️😔

Yes, this wedding footage is beautiful. The passion they felt for each other and love they overflowing for each other is visible. Made me so sad when the minister had them repeat their vows " in sickness and in health & to death do us part.". That really got to me...no one could have predicted, but we aren't even promised tomorrow. They had a great bond, and a beautiful son Elvis who I think looks alot like Nick. I'm sure Amanda treasures every day she had with him. This video just reinforces their love! 💕

I know ppl love him & care that he's not suffering. But Its sad that he cant be resting w/his living family and loved ones. I hope his memory gets to live on well & strong. & he gets the broadway sendoff he deserves when this is over.

I had been watching Amanda’s post about Nick and his battle with Covid 19 since she started posting.Yesterday I heard on our local news in Hamilton about our home town guy Nick Cordero passing away. I was in shock as I didn’t know he was from our city but then I thought about his last name and I searched and found out he was the son of my favourite High school art teacher. She was a wonderful person whom I feel propelled me to be an illustrator and I am heartbroken for her and family and Amanda and Elvis . RIP Nick ❤️

I never got to see Nick perform but it’s clear how much he was loved and respected. Strength to his wife and son at this utterly devastating time.

It's very sad watching this. He looked like a great person, and she looks so happy. Make this day for them last forever in some universe somewhere out there.

My heart breaks looking at this vibrant joyous couple, and knowing the cruel twist of fate that awaited them. She is steadfast in her love and support of him, and I truly hope he recovers and has meaningful quality of life. A reminder to not take a SINGLE MOMENT for granted.

Watching this after hearing he has Covid-19 and lost his leg has me crying. No one should go through this kind of heartache. 😭 Praying for you guys

Such a fun, classy wedding. They were the ultimate perfect couple. I just heard about Nick’s passing, and my heart breaks for his family and loved ones. Seeing this video, though, brought happy tears streaming down. Some people never find the love and joy that these two talented, beautiful souls found together. I’m glad they have this to remember forever. I wish I could trade places with nick though. I’ve raised 6 beautiful children and had amazing love too. I’m older and I wish I could give him more time. You can FEEL the energy through this video. I am having a good time watching this video as though I am there! But, I am also weeping tears for the joy they had and the joy they will no longer be sharing. Thank goodness they had their son so Amanda can find strength in Elvis.

This is so heartbreaking. He was such a bright light and his spirit lives on through her!

As someone who was once catholic and lost his faith, I can tell you, it makes me sad to see others lose their faith. My father was 55, healthy, but died in a span of 72 hours of septic shock from an infection after a "minor outpatient surgery". No prayers saved him. Ill spare you the details of the things I witnessed in the days after his death, but I will tell you its opened the door and given me just enough light to not be living in the dark anymore. I may have lost the faith I was raised in, but I am optimistic again. Don't lose your faith, but grow and change in it. Loss will challenge you.

My heart aches for this family. He fought so hard . May he Rest In Peace.

A year ago, I was fortunate to see Nick perform in “Rock of Ages.” His performance was amazing! He made me laugh so much throughout the show, and was my favorite of all the performers. I met Nick Cordero after seeing Bullets Over Broadway at the stage door. What a lovely man. He took pictures with my friend and I. Talked to us. Didn’t rush us. We were immediate fans. I wish Nick a speedy recovery.
