Being human, I continually battle myself to not to "get in there and help Him"! I have to give it back over and over! This has given me a semblance of peace about the situation. She may just be stuck in a situation of self discovery and trying to see where she fits in the grand scheme of things and she will come around as your same old little girl. I first saw this video 2 YEARS AGO! I have watched it a zillion times, and still love it so much. I never get tired of seeing how much fun dad and daughter have with each other. I have seen other good wedding videos, BUT this is the all time best ever! I hope their lives are long and happy. GOOD JOB!

I have a really strained relationship with my dad and I don’t think he will even be at my wedding, much less do a whole dance like this. I sobbed watching this and smiled through the whole thing, it was beautiful to see but also broke my heart. This is such a beautiful memory they’ll carry with each other forever. How special. ❤

Father and daughter must have had an awesome relationshi. They both rock...she is so lucky...

the joy on their faces...priceless!

I am a new dad to a beautiful daughter and this is inspirational coz I would love to have a beautiful moments like this with her one day when she grow up.

I'm 68. I remember the Daddy Daughter dances! My dad would let me stand on his feet...that's how I learned to dance. My father was awesome!

Hi @Linda Reiber, Due to the fact that you're 68 and that you spoke of your amazing father in past tense it says that dad's watching over you now. I'm 44 and just lost my right arm, my rock of Gibraltar, my best friend and Dad rolled up into one. When is this pain supposed to become bearable or at least subside so as to enable me to go on with him watching over me.

But soon it will be like a loving memory that you can take out of a box and hold it, touch it, and cry a little bit. But then you can put it back and go on with your life. My dad taught me how to dance. Every party mom & dad had there was always a dance contest and dad & I always won. Mom & Dad were great jitter bug dancers. They were in the RCAF during WWII and dance contests were held at the bases and mom & dad always won them. Guess it's in the genes. I miss dancing with my daddy.

Son in law: damn, need to learn those moves before my children got married...

Dave Lawson yep I just realised the moves seemed very very familiar.

The dad had rhythm, and could bust some moves. Great dancer. So was the bride. Great memory to cherish. Enjoyed watching them.

I love the "Bridal Braids" that is the look for weddings. Hers was so pretty.

As a #daddysgirl who would give ANYTHING to have had a moment like this with her #daddy, I am envious, but completely happy that other #littlegirls get these moments! After all, #memories are one thing that no one can steal❣❤

I've literally emceed over 500 Weddings in the past 15 years and THIS WAS EPIC. Much respect to the Dad and Daughter! More than this dance... you know there was a lifetime of love. I have a 5 year old daughter and I'm going to start practicing with her NOW!

@PK That is SO sweet. Time goes by so fast, just cherish this precious time now because before you know it, you will be on here dancing with your precious daughter and thinking back to when she was 5 years old. You have plenty of time to practice that special father and daughter dance. Your baby will only be 5 once and then 6, 7 etc... I know you must be an awesome father from what I've read. The reason I am saying this is because my son is turning 21 this month and sometimes I think, what I wouldn't give to have him that little again. I sure miss them times. Thank God he turned out to be a fine young man. I do understand when you said you have to start practicing now, seeing a father and daughter dance is exciting. Just for now, live in the moment. dwnstringer, so on the defensive! The dad's moves were sharp and precise. The daughter's movements were more fluid. There IS a difference in their styles. If you dance or have the love of dancing, you are aware of the differences. Nothing wrong with stating what you see. This is my favorite Daughter-Daddy dance video. It took a lot of work for them to pull it off so well! They just move differently.
