I did a stop motion with Windows Movie Maker on Windows 7, a few years ago. I used a much better camera, a Canon Powershot, but it was still slow as hell because that program is not designed for stop motion. It's almost as bad as I think it would be using the Nick Click, though, but because of the software not the camera. It's on my channel.

I had one of these when I was about 5 years old, and man did those loud sounds give me some serious nostalgia feels. I don't really remember much about the actual program, but I definitely remember the purple camera and it's loud sounds.
Great video! I had one of these things as a kid! This video was a total nostalgia trip.
For reference, the Game Boy Camera shoots in 128x128, so the Game Boy almost has as good of a resolution as this bad boy. But hey, if you want to turn your photos into wall textures for your latest DOOM WAD, these are almost the right size out of the box!
I never thought the Barbie Camera would look so good by comparison.
I actually had one of these as a kid and got way too much use out of it until we got a real camera. Thanks for the blast from the past!
A great pleasure to watch and do stuff along, as usual! My experience from this field would be a Lego Studios play-set. Although, I guess, it was a bit of a later thing. The set included a web cam made compatible with Lego pieces (handy to create a live camera mount), a bunch of buildings (purposed for spectacular demolishing) a car and a dinosaur. A CD with valid Lego movie making Software and mini-figure version of Steven Spielberg were also included. It was a dream box for me, and when I finally got it I had numerous hours of fun. Keep it up and good luck! P.s. I’d say that by today’s standards Nick Click is a fashionable Lomography experience.

Holy crap this unburied some childhood memories I completely forgot about. It's still fuzzy vague memories, but as soon as I saw the thumbnails I suddenly remembered this thing.
I had one of these! It looked so much better in my memory, I can't believe the pictures were actually that low-resolution.
Nice. Hey LGR, you should also look into reviewing the Nickelodeon Director's Lab.
My old 110 film, happy meal toy camera wallops this thing, and for far lower a price. 😇 (...until it came time to ask parents to develop and purchase more film)
This was my first digital camera! I'll always be grateful for it sparking my interest!
I love your tech history videos! :)
