My favorite movie of all time. My favorite soundtrack of all time. Thank you.

This song is my lullaby for almost decade. It’s started when I meet man I thought it was love of my life and he send me this to show me how he wants to feel for the One. I am struggling with insomnia for years and this song helps most of the time. It reminds me of feeling we had and gives me hope there is more of love and life for me. I wish the same for him to. Hope we will have another chance in some others life.

This is the same reason why I'm here after 5 years. I sent this song to a woman I spent my best memories with. Now she has a family and I'm trying to move forward and have mine, but some people cannot be forgotten... Fortunately we are still friends 😌

"Le Peuple migrateur" is a French documentary film directed by Jacques Perrin who died yesterday, Jacques Cluzaud and Michel Debats, and released in 2001. A wonderful film.

Hauntingly beautiful song! 18 years ago, I lost one of my lil’ bros, same age as Nick Cave’s son, it was absolutely devastating, but you learn to live with the loss, cherishing the good times shared, and happy memories.

I love Nicks' sensitivity, his beautiful voice, poetry, piano. I love the humble way he has shared his grief, his sorrow and sadness, his beautiful soul. I pray for Blessings of happiness and Joy and Triumph over his own personal Cross. Also for his sweet wife and family. There are many of us out here who have known deep pain and Nick has shared his cooling balm with us through his music. How can we not love you Nick, our dear brother. 🤍

Don’t end your life. I’m not sure if the person you’re now without left you or has passed. Whatever the case maybe, ending your life is not a true resolution and surely not what that person would want. Be happy that you were able to feel something so passionately, so wonderful if only for a little while; that someone is able to have such an impact on you, to bring such sadness is itself a blessing. You’re not a cold calculating machine, but real and alive in the full sense of those words. Learning to live with sadness itself is rather beautiful and a life experience we all have to bear. And there are others who care for you and your well being. To quote Nick’s own words, keep pushing, push the sky away. Choosing to continue and find joy where you can is an incredible feat for which you should be praised. Furthermore, someone else might impact you as much if not more- not as a replacement either, just in their own way and personhood. Keep pushing Zeki. I care about you and want to seek you thrive.

@@mike85180 I did stay Mike and time really helped as you said. Here I am after 3 months. I've been through a lot of emotions but in the end thought of taking my life is gone now. Thanks to my supportive family and friends I was able to see a new future for me. Now I work hard for my dreams so that one day I can be in a position where I can help people in need. been an avid Nick Cave fan since my teens but hadn't heard this song before. strangely soothing & melancholy at the same time. such beautiful music & beautiful geese. makes one realise how much beauty our kind are destroying. maybe the geese will fly on after humans are long gone..............

Indeed, this song reminds me of the happy times of my young childhood.

Wish I could send this to someone that I love but I cannot break his heart again. I hope he is happy and forgotten everything and someday may understand why I had to push him away. He is having a baby now, as I learn my health is getting worse and I know he is better off not dealing with someone he loves getting sicker as a disease tears apart everything he loved. I know I made the right choice for him but I still wish I could be by his side. Worst thing in the world is having the best times of your life be the worst and biggest regret of the one you loved most. If you ever see this, I'm sorry and I will always love you.

Thank you for all the kind words. It is kinda funny that as my health deteriorates, it is almost a relief in knowing I made the right choices. Even if it hurts, the paths our lives have taken are so different and he is truly happy now. I am too in my decisions. He had a beautiful daughter and is doing so much better without me and has no clue how bad things are for me, so that is a relief. He won't see the bad and has moved on. I'm happy for him and wish him the best. I hope everyone is doing well and wish you all the best.

Love all songs by him but this one is still my favorite..

myrreme first, I’m sorry to read about your mourning... I wanted to assure you, there are no coincidences and this is not a silly thought. Such “phenomena” is called synchronicity 🙂I’m pretty sure it’s the way your mom wanted to let you know she’s by your side. If you get more mindful about things you hear or see, you’ll get more messages from her. Like you see something/hear something and it “stroke” you or you suddenly “zoom” your focus out of blue on a phrase someone in a crowd has said or graffiti on a wall... such things. Just listen to your gut and your heart - they know, what they know 🙂 love and light to you ❤️
