Nick has lifted me up so many times, healed me when I was broken. I listened to Ghosteen in its entirety fresh out of rehab and it soothed my soul like nothing could. I was broken and he healed me. His music and lyrics are a gift. A blessing. I am truly thankful he keeps creating and evolving. I guess I’m just really thankful for Nick.

Husband introduced me to Nick Cave 28yrs ago when I first met him. We celebrated 25yrs married recently, I surprised him with a few special friends at a local gig which my guitarist daugher also made a surprise appearance at. Both she & my son then turned the tables on both of us! Knowing our mutual love of Nick's music, they have bought us both tickets for The Wild God tour in November. To say we were overwhelmed is an understatement! ❤
“Frogmarching you home” is stuck in my head for some reason. Nick is a master

It's astonishing how many possible combinations there are, from only one language no less!
While many other musicians are scratching their heads and don’t know what to do next, despite the many years that have passed,Cave manages to take his creative activity to a new level! This is a real indicator of talent and skill!
I guess the only thing to do is let the tears flow. ... man, this song moves me to tears. thank you.
The most amazing thing about Nick and the Bad Seeds is, you are hearing new magic, within the first few bars of a song. This one does not disappoint. You blow my mind.
Outstanding! 🙌Scott Walker vibe with added Joy & existential excitement.

I might be wide of the mark but this feels like it's about that day when you suddenly realise you feel joy and happiness again following a traumatic bereavement and that it's ok to feel that way. I lost my wife suddenly two years ago and had a similar moment driving in the sunshine near a favourite spot of hers - quite unexpectedly found myself smiling and knowing it was ok. Of course I might be completely wrong but thats my take on it anyhow!

@@jlobiafraI definitely get that, and the 90s is probably my favorite Bad Seeds era, but one thing that I love about Nick and the rest of the Bad Seeds is that they never really repeat what they’ve already done. I want them to do what feels genuine, and I can trust them to deliver on that front

I hate Sundays. It's always been a yellow, boring, sad day for me. I could never explain it. Few years ago, someone very close to me passed away, also on Sunday. Like if I have hated it all those years for a reason... On the other hand though, I have many wonderful family memories that happened on Sundays, when we were all together. So when you sing "amazed of love and amazed of pain" I can feel it with all my heart... I love it that I can find so many personal things in your songs (probably many of us can)
