Ayaan Hirsi Ali has been attacked by trans activists in the UK for speaking about FGM - speaking about women having their female genitals mutilated in the name of religion is apparently a sign of her "cis privilege" and offensive and triggering for trans women. All power to her.

Why do we continue to make icons out of these people who lack morals and decency. Three children were victims of Ferguson's and Ali's adulterous affair. If we must make idols of people, let's at least find ones who live virtuous lives.

Maybe we should talk about the courage of Sue Douglas (Niall Ferguson's ex-wife) who had to go through the insult and disrespect of having her husband openly sleeping with another woman while married. Rather uncouth of Megyn to bring up her genital mutilation with Niall. Ayaan wrote about it in her book "Infidel" and she was just a child when it happened. I think it was too personal to talk about in an interview with her husband. It's nothing for Ayaan to be ashamed of but it just would have been better to talk about how it still happens to young girls in that part of the world.

she is brave but uneducated and naive. Ferguson is an apologist for The British Empire. Love her bravery but she should get an education. There is a world beyond Europe,. Why would Ali not gravitate towards African Spirituality? Simple, she does not think much of nonwhite contributions. Ferguson is a confirmation bias person and praises JS Mill who was the father of liberalism and supported the murder of thousands of Indians. Ms.Ali, you have gone through a lot and please be careful against the Islamic terrorists, and I wish you a great life. Despite her alliance with the reactionary forces, I will always appreciate your bravery. By the way, Megyn you could interview Nupur Sharma, but she is a Hindu, why would you be interested?
