One of the skincare industry's golden starchild comes in the form of niacinamide, or vitamin B3! Because we love this ingredient we thought we'd also give love to another vitamin B ingredient, commonly known as panthenol (Vit B5). These subtle but powerful ingredients really can do it all, like reduce hyperpigmentation while brightening the overall complexion, even out skin tones, reduce sebum filled large pores and even strengthen the skin barrier! What else do we want right?! Find out how we use it in a routine, why you may not react so well with it, and which products we loooove! Leave us your faves below and don't forget, it always starts from within 😊- BW

This video really saved my skin, the ingredient mash-up they are recommending are spot on! I was struggling so much with dry skin, wrinkles from sun-damage and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation even though I was using so many luxury skincare (SK-II, Sulwhasoo). I decided to switch to The Ordinary (Lactic Acid), COSRX (AHA & BHA) and La Roche-Posay (Vit B5 and C) and my skin has never been clearer, softer and smoother! My face was glowing to the moon and back and my friends were even asking which skin tint I was wearing. That was when I knew I've hit the jackpot for my skincare routine!

The paula choice one is another derivative from vit c, not the ascorbic acid one. So, it could react differently. And the main reason why it's cannot be used tgt is niacinamide works better in ph lvl: 6, while the vit c is in ph level:3-4. So it may not works effectively

I use the Ordinary niacinamide solution on the sides of my face and chin. I'm about 3-4 weeks I have definitely noticed reduced hyper pigmentation, it's slowly turning lighter and lighter pink and I'm so happy. I can't use it on the apples on my cheeks tho, that skin is super weird and sensitive and the niacinamide burns like fire there...

Hello! Great video! I recently bought a gua sha tool, rosehip oil and niacinamide as well as other The Ordinary products. I want to incorporate gua sha into my weekly routine, maybe every other day. Is it better to use niacinamide first then the rosehip oil + gua sha or the other way around? I wanted to use rosehip oil because I heard that it's easier for the gua sha tool to glide when aided by an oil. Thank you!

I have a serious question regarding body skin! I'm fine with following up on my skincare for the face but all these benefits of all these vitamins for skin are amazing but what do you do if your skin on the body is really bad. Like I have rheumatoid arthritis and since I've had that, I've not been able to take care of my body skin as much and I have dermatitis neglecta now, discoloration in my body skin and wrinkled areas. How can I find products that are more in quantity with all these benefits you tell us for the face skincare. Would really appreciate the advice, really struggling, embarrassed and very concious to show myself to my partner now. PLEASSEEE HELP!!

What are some good niacinamide alternatives? I always feel stinging and burning sensations after using any form of niacinamide (whether the niacinamide concentration is 10% in the ordinary serum, 2% in in the dear klairs vitamin E mask or in some sunscreens 🥺).

Is it safe to use the Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner with a Niacinamide or Panthenol serum or would that be too much? Also would you say it is safe to use both a Niacinamide and Panthenol serum together if it were two different bottles like with Paula's Choice 20% Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid Booster? Thank you xx

It depends on your personal skin conditions if Toner AND Serum would be too much. You have to try. Start slow by mixing a small amount of the serum with your cream.
