As someone who never liked the Bruins, I wish Jaco Edwards a happy retirement. He was the guy you loved to hate, but also loved hearing his indignation when the Bruins were losing. But really, he was the embodiment of what a local hockey commentator should be. Yes, it is time for him to retire, but the jokes are in poor taste. Imagine having to quit doing the thing you loved most because of an unknown medical condition.

Ended up giving the Panthers the Atlantic Division, as those guys beat the Maple Leafs…

I don’t think Edwards sounds drunk or high. He sounds ‘out of breath’ at the end of the game. I am not a fan of his, but he clearly was giving it his all and realised (or was told) he couldn’t do it full time anymore.

Who ever they play they are not handling the playoff speed. They will get knocked out in the first round especially if they can’t even beat Ottawa.

Unlike 2019, all Toronto has to worry about re: Boston is Pasta and the goalies. Back end is not as strong as it was then, and the advanced metrics show. Oh, and the fact Boston swept the season series? Look back at Ottawa in 2001, where they swept the season series and favoured to win… get swept in the playoffs by the Leafs

Yeah, well, you can say the same about last year's Florida. They were carried hard by Tkachuk and Bobrovsky, got in the finals. Also, I don't think your statement is correct, we have a lot more guys over/close to 20 goals this season, than you have.
