I think Florida 2024 cup winners.
The difference between the captains of the Bruins and Leafs was stark. Marchand was noticeable all over the ice. Scoring. checking, blocking shots in the closing moments. Tavares, again, nowhere to be found. No impact. He's not getting his teammates going. And he's two years younger than Marchand and makes $5M more per season.

The takeaways from these two games in Toronto: Brad Marchand: 5 points Desert punk: 1 goal post The boos at the end of the second period were music to my ears. While Marchand continues making a bid for the Conn Smythe trophy, it looks like the Leafs' best players have imploded as a unit. This game has to feel like the bottom for the Leafs and their fans. Game 5 is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 30th. No surprise there at all, for the simple reason any game the Leafs play in the month of May is an achievement.

The Leafs are done because their coach won't demand his team to fix their lack of defence. They bunch up, all going for the puck in one spot and get in each other's way, while the opposing team remains spread out so they can pass it to each other, and not collide with each other. Also, when the Leafs are on the defensive and boxed in, they will just stand still and watch the other team pass it to each other, instead of skating towards the opposing player with the puck and forcing him to shoot the puck too early to be of any use. This has been going on for years. First step for improvement is to fire their entire coaching staff.
Leafs out in five games.Hopefully management can see this core needs to be dismantled. There was no urgency or passion to win tonight,

Leafs simply don’t have the players that know how to win. They brought in a team captain who never figured it out. They rushed the process rather than letting this team grow under the leadership of Matthews and the core group. Brad was really given a dumpster fire with no money to make necessary moves and the President is too stubborn to allow the necessary roster pieces go to bring in the roster they can. Frankly next year will be a wash as well as Matthews salary will once again eat up too much

One glaring difference between the Bruins in Leafs is the emotion that the Bruins have and their absolute commitment to winning. I noticed last year when the Bruins lost in the first round, badman Marchand was crying on the ice. When the Leafs lose, they just hang their head and slither off the ice on their way to the bank.
Tavares & marner need to be cashed out for more depth. The entire system needs an overhaul.

That was literally the worst effort in a playoff game I have ever seen, and I have been watching hockey for 4 decades.

What a weak effort by the maple leafs. This team is dysfunctional. They play with no heart & awkward, almost disabled. Two leafs cannot win a puck battles in the corners against one Bruins player. They don't move the puck fast enough for D to D while the Bruins have all the day to walk in and shoot the puck.
