@@BlackMasakari The irony if you think the jets are strong, I hate the leafs but they are leaps and bounds better then the jets and thats just the best team in the north, The oilers are no where near playoff ready and it shows once again, even a goalie having a career year couldnt carry you guys through the playoffs with your mediocre defense and lack of any depth scoring, thank Mcoverpaid for that, gotta love paying for a dude to put up crazy point totals in the regular season then never show up come playoff time cause the team almost never makes it and when they do they get swept~

As a Leafs fan, seeing another team blow a 4-1 lead in the 3rd period of a playoff game is quite refreshing.

@@michaeldilley2544 Really, I can't see that happening at all. Only four teams in NHL history have comeback from a 3-0 deficit. The chance the Oilers pull that off is miniscule. Also the Jets are a very well built team as proven by the fact they have a 3-0 lead. The Oilers essentially know that they are going to lose the series so probably won't try in game four, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets completed a sweep.

Oiler strategy 2022: Tank until we get Bedard. After that it'll be instant Stanley Cups

You are so correct, I think Ehler is what make the Jets roll. He gets injured and the Jets fold up like a cheap suitcase, He comes back for the play-offs, and the Jets look unbeatable.

What even makes you attending when you only expect 100% perfection and nothing else? Are you even human? Not everybody is a god like you, people aren't perfect and mistakes are made.

Watching at home in the 'peg. Our older son was saying after it was 4-1 "it's over. We're out. No way we can win this." All negative. I said "it's not over until the buzzer". Minutes later we start a comeback of fantastic highlight footage. 4-2. 4-3. 4-4. IS IT POSSIBLE? BOOM OVERTIME. Boom Ehlers nets a beauty of a shot. My kid was flabbergasted. Moral of the story: NEVER GIVE UP. Nashville game 3 was similar. The noise would still be heard. What an awesome series!! Physical. Goalies have been awesome. Pretty much all good goals, not any of the soft how did that go in? variety that you yell at the tv/goalie about. Now if we can sweep tonight.... GO JETS GO GO JETS GO GO JETS GO

The core of the Jets team - Wheeler, Scheif, Ehlers, Connor, Morrissey, Hellebuyck, Stastny - were in the Conference Finals in 2018, so obviously not a bad team. Also unloaded a problematic player who doesn't want to move his feet (Laine) for a goos player with something to prove (Dubois). Obviously not a juggernaut team, but still way better than the Oilers.

Yup. McDavid and Draisaitl cover up a lot of problems with the Oilers and both the bubble play-in and this first round prove it. The Oilers will be exposed in the playoffs every time as long as they're a two man show.

Yes..yes we can on more than one occasion yeah. Heads are going to roll if the Oilers get swept say bye to Tippett, all the coaching staff and Ken Holland's GM seat will be hotter than Dante's Inferno if that's the case. This team can't give Mcdavid and Draisital any damn support, their defence is piss poor and they are relying upon an almost 40 year old goalie to take them to a cup when the goalies name isn't Martin Brodeur 🙄. This team is built very very wrong and yes I haven't been saying it in a nice way to Oilers stating that the Oilers are a 2 man team with AHL'ers around them but I'm being proven sort of right by their performance thus far.

@@Bentami I watched them back then, they were one of the best teams in the league. I only thought oilers would beat jets because of the regular season, and that 6 to 1 loss with the hat trick for McDavid. I should've known that hellebuyck wouldn't transform into his vezina mode 😅

Ya, the Bruins were a better team than Winnipeg in 2013, and ya, Toronto didn’t have the big name players that Edmonton does now, but it was a 4-1 lead blown in a game 7. Bigger stakes there man, especially against a heated rival like Boston. As far as heartbreak or shock factor, the Leafs’ collapse is way worse.

Let them get swept. McDavid needs to be humbled. Best player on earth has been invisible since he hit 100 points. He needs that kick in the junk so he can look in the mirror and see what he needs to change. It's not just the guys around him
