Kotkaniemi is 19 and since coming back from his injury he has 4 goals in 8 games and has been producing more offence overall. His level of confidence is starting to rise back to last years level. Before judging him, I’d like to see how he can finish off the year. Remember, Barkov had a mad sophomore season as well and these two players have similar talents and play styles if you compare age by age.

Pretty crazy I stumbled upon this video Tactix! I used to be chf11 on here so seeing your name and listening to your commentary is bringing back the memories haha. Was just scrolling through my recommended videos and this popped up. Great video though man, your mock draft is one of the only ones I have seen that has Rossi going top 5. People don't seem to realize the huge amount of potential that kid has, also nice to see you throwing my boy Zary in there to CBJ! He has been ripping it up back here in Kamloops this season, definitely a fan favourite. Again, great video man!

Yeah. Finns tend to develope later than NA players. For example Rantanen, Aho and Barkov all took few years to develope to the franchise players they are today.

David N Barkov is top 3-4 center in the league. Aho is a solid 80-100 points Center in the league. Borderline franchise level, but has to prove himself. Has 36 goals this season though, eventhough the production at the first 10 games was sad. Rantanen has proven that he definitely can hit 100pts regularly if he stays healthy. Definitely franchise level talent.

Seeing Minnesota go up like that was very delightful to my eyes. Byfield with Kaprizov and probably Kunin or Fiala would be a nasty good line.

Lafreniere is honestly the perfect player the habs need right now. He will be god in Montreal.

You should do this maybe every month or every other month to see how it changes :)

A line with Zadina and Lafreniere would be incredible.

As a habs fan, im really hoping we can get a top3 pick, if not, the top10 is really stacked this year! After Lafrenière at #1 and maybe Byfield at #2, no one can predict 100% which player will go at which ranks to be honest.

Drysdale is a stud makes some very smart and good passes with break outs. Love watching him every weekend.

Marco Rossi is so good smart great skater and hands like god he’s one of my favorite players in the draft

If I had the number one pick I would trade down to second or third thus creating a bidding war between those two teams. And especially if Montreal moves into second or third at the draft lottery to make that big splash in June in Montreal with a French Canadian kid. I would grab Stenzle or the best defence and along with a first round pick in the 2021 draft from the other club.

I'm just gonna go ahead and make a prediction: Lafreniere to the Kings Byfield to the Rangers Raymond to the Red Wings I'll be back in June if I'm right

In my opinion MTL would have to offer a lot because of just how great lafreniere is like maybe 3 1st rounds from 2020-2022 and 2nds from 2021 to 2023 and 3 3rds from 2020 2022 2024 and kotkaneimi plus multiple young guys and at least 3 prospects

Even just with Ottawa picking 2 top 10 picks would be VERY beneficial for them.

Having suffered through the mooseheads season I'd be surprised to see Barron in the top 15. Not saying he isn't good enough I'd just be concerned about the injury. Hendrix Lapierre is another guy who shouldn't be slept on, 11 pts in 5 games at the Hilinka Grezky cup and nearly a point per game in the Q this season.. Could easily see him creep into the top 15, though again he has had some injuries.

if i’m gonna be honest, i feel that ottawa’s picks would swap because drysdale is that top d man and is always rising, but rossi’s height will make him fall, just as caufield, but it will be a good pick no matter what

I think after world juniors and askrov being shaky HD might drop a couple picks

I think Askarov is going to Ottowa because they are going to have 2 top 10 picks and I dont know that any other team is goning to want to pick up a gaolie in a draft that deep. The Devils need a backup goalie more now then a starter despite Cory's injury issues. Blackwood has been playing well (and been more consistent) and hes young. Goalies are difficult to project and I would rather see NJ take Drysdale if they are picking 6th.

If my devil's take that Russian goaltender I'll flip.. we have blackwood. You obviously can't think much of him since you didn't mention him but he's gonna be a good one for a while ..need a drysale much more

When is the draft lottery?

Based on the way Caufield dropped last year, I'm confident Ottawa will wait with the SJ pick if they choose Rossi and take Lundell or Drysdale with their own pick

Lafreniere wants to go to Montreal so what if he pulls a Eric Lindros

The pens are probably moving their first for either toffoli or saad so idk why I always try to get excited for the draft we never have our pick lol

Well they have been a pretty Good team for a majority of the time between then and now so

Stutzle can really push to 2nd overall pick also If he goes nuts on wcc 2020 for germany team

I mean this is a stronger draft than last year so I don’t think it was the worst move in the end

Bettman will rig the draft and the Canadiens will get the first overall pick so that he doesn’t get boo’d 😂

i don’t really think ottawa would take drysdale.. he is good don’t get me wrong but ottawa doesn’t need any other defensive prospect at the moment, they got chabot, brannstrom, bernard-docker, lassi thomson right now ottawa’s defensive aspect looks good for the future and drysdale wouldn’t hurt don’t get me wrong but i just don’t think they really need him right now, plus ottawa’s goaltending prospects aren’t that bad so they mostly just need good forwards prospects

I curious to know what are you thought about montreal this year? Like you can see, they are struggling very bad right now just coming out of 8 losses. I think, as a habs fan, that Bergevin should stay because if you look at the team back in 2012, it was so bad, no prospect at all exept for gally and chucky who’s bad right now. I think he did really great move because we now have one of the best prospect pool of the entire nhl! I personnaly think that he should fire Julien and put Ducharme as the head coach. Julien is not bad but he’s not good with the rookies and all the others young player and that’s the problem because Montréal have a really young team now. Ducharme should be better I think. Also, i think he should stop saying he’s doing a reset and accept that he should press de rebuilder button and that is by trading both price and weber. Weber is pretty good this year but if you look at his contract and the time that left on him, it’s not good. He’s 33, he have value now, why not trade him for maybe a good top 4 D, a def prospect right handed and maybe a pick? And price is good too but he want to win and if we push the rebuilder button, he wont win in mtl. So i think we should trade him as he have still a great value for a goalie who can carry the net good enough by the time primeau will be ready, a good solid forward prospect maybe a winger to eventually replace tatar or somebody else but not a center because we alrealdy have kk suzuki and poehling. Not a right winger too because we have kovy, gally, armia and caufield. And you try to get some picks too but it’s the least important. With this plan, we would be able to be contenders in 3-4 years i think and by this time, our first line will be suzuki caufield and gally, second, kk drouin and idk but the point is danault would be our third or fourth center depending of poehling progession and if we’ll not trade him. We also have romanov and ylonen who should be really good by this time. Our defense will be romanov and the prospect x acquired in the weber trade, fleury and mete, norlinder and petry. Our captain would be gallagher as it should be not because weber isn’t a good one, actually is excellent, but i think gallagher is the hard working himself and he always show the exemple so that why he should be captain. In goal, we will have primeau and like a good backup x. Tatar will be traded for his great value during this summer to have a higher pick or just for good prospect in general. What do you think??

I think we can not trade Weber or Price because we would not get back what they are worth and we would lose all our veterans that have the biggest leadership roles... Secondly the worse thing you can do is bet on prospects because each one takes a longer amount of time and the true talent ceiling is hardly ever reached.. Tatar is our best player this season and still has a full year term while Petry plays so many minutes that Montreal has no one that can replace him.

Let’s be real, you made this cuz u wanted to see Detroit get Lafrienere 😏
