He needs to put a lot of weight and muscle on. He is 6'2 and under 160 which is really bad. Big project but has the potential to be a top 3 player in the draft.

You did a better job giving details as to why teams would select certain players than most nhl analysts have so far. Great job on this video!

I could see the Canucks trading Tanev+ for that 14th pick from Tampa and taking Peterson, he played with another one of their prospects dahlen so maybe some day 1 chemistry?

I could potentially see Yamamoto going much earlier than expected and breaking into the top 15. he is undersized but he created a ton of offence with on a pretty weak team and was very impressive at the prospects game.

What's the best way to get master collectibles

Just throwing this in there Patrick has played 1 full season since 2011. And before that was 76% is his highest games played. He might be better but health can be an issue. As a Devils fan I feel we need Hischier and his speed I find would go well. After drafting Zacha who has been a more power forward Type player.

I wouldnt be to surprised if Cal Foote makes his way into the top 15 polarizing figure that can contribute offensively and and hes a solid in his own zone. Son of Adam Foote and plays kinda the same way as his father. Someone that could be a mid to late 1st round steal

I'm gonna be honest, I think Florida is pretty solid up front with size, now they need to add some wheels. There are some slow players upfront (Bjugstad, Barkov, Jagr) that I think could be helped by a player like Lias Anderson.

Best sleeper in the first round will be Robert Thomas from London

It's tough to guess how good of a player will be just based on stats. Remember Nail Yakupov? He put up 100+ points in his draft year and look where he is now.

I prefer Patrick to hischier but I think NJ will take hischier because they need more pure goal scorers instead of two way gays and hischier can play anywhere (center or wing) for them, but you're definitely right the whole draft completely depends on what Dallas does

As a Colorado Fan, I would beg to differ that Colorado is ok with waiting longer to come back to a better position. Id say that they take someone like Liljegren or another defensemen other than Heiskanen, as I agree that Dallas will get him. Colorado's forward core is still pretty good. Their bottom six can be improved upon, but for right now, defense comes first.

I think a dark horse for 20-30 is Jaret Anderson Dolan, he is 4 days away from the 2018 draft eligibility and he put up decent points on Spokane and he is almost exactly a year younger than Patrick plus he's a fantastic skater

Arizona might go with Liljegren, their LDH is already set with OEL, Goose and Chychrun, but they are very poor at RDH. But i wouldn't be shocked if they take Tippett, he has very good numbers.

I would like to see the Devils take Hischier, he's more dynamic offensively / more of what the devils need whereas Patrick is more of a heavy two-way center. Although we could move Zacha or Mcleod to the wing, they are 2 big centers and it would make a lot more sense to draft Hischier. Nico has a higher ceiling in my opinion even though Nolan might be more NHL ready right now. Also Patrick's injury history is definitely a concern. Obviously both great players though who would both help the devils tremendously and i would gladly take either one, but if the decision was up to me i'm going with Nico.

nexushockeyHD he had a sports hernia and an upper body injury. This kid scored 30 goals at 16 years old in the WHL and a season later had over 100 points in a full season. In the shortened season he was above a point per game. Hischier has only recently become relevant as a top talent. You have to take the player with bigger sample size and more consistency. Patrick is more NHL ready on top of it. Hischier could become better offensively but its not worth passing up a guaranteed first line center for the next 15 years

It depends. Hischier is dominant every game. Not like it matters anyway. It's like hall vs seguin draft. You're getting an elite player no matter what. I prefer hischier just cause the devils don't really need a 3 zone player because they already have one in mcleod.

I'm with Mike cratty I fell Nick Hauge should go 13th to Winnipeg he's 6'4 and strong incace a player like Laine gets rocked again Hauge will stick up and he has a great shot hes an all around player oh and he plays for the steelheads and they are in the Ohl finals
