Some of the unnecessary roughness calls are silly. Even knowing they're about to be going OOB, defenders still need to stop them from taking 3 more steps forward while hugging the sideline which is what half of these "fouls" are. Its just as dumb as QB sliding; gain yards until going into a protected position last second, that usually draws a foul because Defenders have brains and instincts that can't be stopped on a dime.

The problem I'm seeing more and more is players who are headed to the sidelines or QBs getting ready to slide seeing the defender letting up so they take advantage and gain a few more yards at the defender's expense. Defenders can't let up any more-they have to take the ball carrier down, whatever it takes. Mahomes is a perfect example. He'll bullshit a defense every chance he gets.

So stupid the amount of people on the sidelines and how close they are to the field 😂

Heart-warming to see the level of concern from the players after they’ve collided with someone and injured them. I’m being sarcastic, of course. There is zero concern. They just look down with disdain.

most people on the sidelines (especially the voluntary security) are not allowed to face the field. I know this doesn't account for all of these hits shown but it is wild. I worked a few games in college and if you were caught looking back at the field instead of at the crowd, you were asked to leave and you wouldn't get paid.
