If you’ve never done synchro skating or even marched in the military on a drill team or a serious collegiate marching band... you can’t even fathom how difficult this is. Great job to the Canadians.

I was on an adult precision skating team many years ago. We were nowhere near this good, but we had a blast and it is definitely a lot of work.

Precision teams are extremely difficult and require complete dedication. A double axel is cake. When doing a 2A, you depend only upon yourself and your own skills. Precision teams require trust and dedication of 20+ people. You can’t even compare the two. It’s completely different.

Was anyone else absolutely blown away but also petrified and anxious for them getting all of those moves correct and not colliding into anyone.

It is such a fun sport, but I have so many horror stories loll! I was in a team when growing up and lemme tell you it's no joke when you smack into someone at full speed. The whole group might go down if the first row falls. Just imagine face planting on the ice when everyone around you has knifes attached to their feet

My friend refused to let go of the railing the first time, completely refused. On the second one, she let us take her by the hands and lead her a bit, but she was so panic-y it was really hard. Third time, she was more okay, but super panic-y when we let go. All this time she moved as a newborn deer. The next time was better, the next one better than that. Now, after a few tries, she's still a bit unsure and unsteady, but she's skating by herself and it's not half bad. What I mean is that sometimes it's hard but you shouldn't give up or give yourself a hard time. It's a skill you have to practice over and over again and it's nothing wrong with looking like a newborn deer at the beginning :)

take some skating lessons, and try a synchro class. its rlly fun, and you will make TONS of friends if you do it. Trust me :)

If you look up different videos of synchro you can see so many different levels and types! Programs can consist of so many different elements and can be done to so many different types of themes. It’s really stunning! One of my personal favorites are the Haydenettes, their program of 2018-2019 was stunning.

It’s 3 am On a Friday night Actually Saturday morning now that I think about it And I have no idea what I am watching or why I am watching it but I am entertained and that is all that matters

the algorithm did good on this one. this was randomly in my recommended and i was MESMERIZED the entire time cheering them on.

Loved how they slid into & out of the various lines

for anyone who hasn’t done synchro skating before: that took SO much skill, coordination, and practise! they were so aligned so many of the pass throughs were really difficult to do, I’m so amazed

the rolling turn on that pivoting line.... that diagonal intersection... those lifts.... the twizzles and spins in total unison... my team is spectacular but we could never do that in a million years its incredible!!!!

It's almost impossible to get that many people on the same page or up the the level they need to be at. Bravo bravo 👏👏👏

Wow! make this an Olympic event and bring some excitement back to figure skating.

This is so majestic! It feels like they flying over the ice and the synchronisation with the music makes it even more beautiful

I would not be sad to see this added to the Olympics. Technically easy moves become exponentially more difficult when multiplied by 16.

Never heard of them I’m brand new to this I thought it was absolutely wonderful… So much more to coordinate then just pairs skating. Totally enjoyed this.

the fact that we as humans have to practice years and years of blood sweat and tears to establish something so beautifully synchronized as this, and then there are fish and birds like. ugh yeah. we kinda were born with this skill more perfect than this and in groups of hundreds. lol

They were absolutely great. Especially when they skated in a cirkel. I actually got a tear of how beautiful it’s was. God. I can’t come over how great they were, and it’s not me typically write those kind of things.❤️😊

I absolutely loved the choice of song and I love Nexxice! Definitely one of my favourite programs of their's. But I feel a little bit more could have been done with this program.. Especially with the upbeat part of the song. They have amazing, talented skaters and I think they should add just a little more to their programs. I can't wait to see what Nexxice 2017!!
