Your suit is incredible. This is definitely useful info for other projects as well. Thanks for sharing and going into detail with everything.

Great video man and awesome build! Huge inspiration for me building a MK3 as we speak. Funny thing, I searched for levers and such yesterday without any luck, so I made some myself and today I see this! :D I'm gonna give your parts a look because they look great! :)
As mentioned in title this is for sure the next level iron man suit . Loved it 😍

Might be cool to see if you can implement a voice activation like “check control surfaces” and bam! Your parts start doing their thing. I know that’s a big thing. It would be cool though.

Ayy that’s awesome! I can’t wait to see!
The arduino resetting problem you talked about at the end might be flyback voltage from the servo motors. It's basically an EM field created by the motor which induces a current in the wires. You can add a capacitor across the + and - of the servo to absorb the spike. Btw really nice suit!

For sure!!
I’ve tried to make a set of iron man armor multiple times, but It never gets to turn out as cool as these suits I see other people making.
nice work i made a oni mask and cyberpunk sward and it turned out ok but this is amazing keep it up :)
@plentifulprops3d

Ay that’s cool! Thanks!
The reason of your arduino reseting is because a motor (servo in this case) when it stops it generates an inverse current that mesh with the arduino electronics (basicaly a diode) and that micro power shortage is what keep reseting the system. I have had similar problems in other projects. Adding a capacitor between + and - of the servo can solve the problem but having an independent power supply is better option (having into account that electronics like LEDs, arduino... uses like miliamps and servos several amps).

For context, i have been designing an ironman suit using the base MK6 model from Do3D for the last 6 or 7 years with voice commands, an android app with Bluetooth, fog, sound, lights, flags and missile movement... and this kind of videos show to me that it is posible to do and to get ideas. As an software engineer, developing all the systems with arduino and ESP32 is quite fordward, but editing the STL is a nightmare for me 😅 Good content and better ironman suit.
What are you using for the smoke coming out of the back? Do you go over that in one of your videos?
Now I also want to make a iron man suit
Too advanced for me, but I’ll watch the whole thing bcz you, the iron idiots, etc are cool people with cool videos of cool stuff
No but seriously really good video

Thank you so much!! The batteries are both regular 5V power banks for phones (the white one was a Christmas gift and I haven’t been able to find it online since😂). The other one is gigantic and should be able to power your entire suit for a whole day, here’s the link: Power Bank 38800mAh,LCD Display www.amazon.ca/dp/B09PZV62V3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share And here’s a similar power bank to the white one: Power Bank USB C, 26800mAh 3A USB www.amazon.ca/dp/B07RBSXSZ8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Hey. I love everything you are doing here and I’m in the process of building one too. What I’m wondering is ; your top ailerons ,Did the file have a hinge or did you make that.? Not the motorization kit that you made ( which is awesome by the way) but where the actual flap mounts to the top of the shoulder area. I’ve got the file set from Johan3d which I’m assuming you do too And I’m noticing what I printed is not hinged. Great work love your content. Please keep it up.!
@plentifulprops3d
10 ай бұрын
Thanks! And unfortunately its not hinged, it’s something you have to add yourself
Do you have a link for the cabinet clips?
What degree of motion servo do you use for the flaps? I cant find 90, so I'm assuming its either 180 or 270
which mark is this suit and where can i find the files ?
I don't like the LED everywhere (my personnal taste) but your armor and motorisation, beautiful ! Python is your first suit ?

Eyy thanks!! I’ll keep that in mind for future tutorials, I’m planning to do one on the missile launcher :)
I think if I plan to do this I will used a random delay and random movement to made flaps moving
@plentifulprops3d

good call, I tried my best to get it to be as random as possible but it was quite difficult to get the delay commands juuuuust right
@cerbere4187
Жыл бұрын
@@plentifulprops3d it need more conding expérience but i guess the good way is to make a fonction returning a random delay and move and another making the values not killing the suit 😅
Are the backflaps already separated with the files you had or you manualy modeled them?
@plentifulprops3d
Жыл бұрын
They were already separated with the model I got, but I needed to add hinges and modify the back and whatnot to make them motorized
I thought it said moisturise not motorise (in the uk we use S not Z)

The only other method I’m aware of is using pressurized air (like those little cans to clean computers and whatnot), those can produce a pretty cool jet effect!
