    I think the separation yards are determined by separation at the time the ball is released. So that one the guy sat off a bit and then shot out of a canon to ty to pick it but the formula still recognized it as separation because he was sitting back. Just a theory though.

    I’m thinking that fields needs to get the bears to the playoffs to keep his job or be traded and the only way they can do that is beating the browns next week which is a nightmare matchup for the bears. I don’t see bears passing up on a guy in Williams that everyone is saying is the best quarterback coming out since manning or at least Andrew luck. Fields needs to get them to the playoffs and do really well in the playoff game and be the reason they make the playoffs in the first place

    @@mr.fukk12you make a very valid point and rightfully so. Let me ask you this though, do you really want to prolong this rebuild process by drafting a rookie QB and ask him to save us? He’s a fantastic talent, but starting over at QB when it feels like Justin is so close to showing his true potential just seems silly to me. I don’t think drafting Caleb would be smart it would just reset the process over in try to get a young talent to dig you out of a hole. Idk, just my take. Cheers!

  • @mr.fukk12

    @mr.fukk12

    @@MattStJohnOfficial prolonging the rebuild would suck but if your gonna get a top 5 talent at quarterback and can build him up to a top 5 overall quarterback than you do that if you don’t have a top 10 quarterback when all quarterbacks in the league are healthy. We’ve seen enough of fields to know that he needs a lot of work to be a top 5 quarterback and it might never happen why not risk it you only live once and you rarely get a number one pick especially with a crazy quarterback draft it’s a one in a million shot

    @@mr.fukk12my math suggests it's about ~1/380. Assumptions: 1 #1 overall pick, every 32 years. = 1/32 A generational QB talent, by definition should be, once in a generation. Which is 20 years. But given that football careers are shorter, let's go with a conservative 12 years. 1/12 1/32 * 1/12 = 1/384. Since there is a draft only once a year. That would mean this lines up for each team, about once every 384 years. ASSUMING he is a generational talent, and ASSUMING the Bears don't screw him up. Honestly, I would just stick with Justin Fields and cash in the pick again. It's so much safer, and you get crazy value. We got DJ Moore and a stud OT. Not to mention, 2 more elite picks. It's insane value.

    It's amazing the amount of nitpicking and hate that this kid gets. Some Chicago fans think that they deserve the second coming of Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes combined and that their QB should be perfect and contending for SB from the womb. Most of the all time greats took 3-4 years to become competent QB's and some took 4-6 years to become great. And that's with good coaching and talent around them. Burrow, Mahomes, Hurts, Allen and Hebert ALL benefited from good talent around them from the time they entered the league. while Justin started his career with Nagy and WRs that are out of the league. People expect Justin to be a savior when even the best in the league are struggling WITH talented rosters and decent coaching

He's had better games but the bears have still managed to lose so really wins is the only thing that matters. I think Justin is due for a BIG GAME coming up in this stretch.

    Great WR play. In no way were they the most improbable completions… they were typical completions for any QB in the NFL. You want improbable? You look at the sidearm completions. You look at the moony catch where there was literally 1 inch of room to fit the ball. Those are improbable. You’re on the right path, but showing the wrong completions.

Nothing more, nothing less.......when it comes time for him to negotiate the new contract, $200,000,000 is the going rate and Bears say sorry will you take less, he says bye, bye.
