I to have chosen the white Sport model however I have opted for the V6. I tow a 3T caravan. I have installed rear air bags & Toughdog adjustable shocks. I’ve changed to 20” Simmons wheels with 285x50x20 Toyo tyres. I’ve also put the Raptor bonnet on it as well 👍 If you buy new the V6 option was only $3k more In the new Amarok the wipers & indicator stalks are swapped. Amazed that the hood release is on the passenger side 🤦‍♂️

Yeah the hood release is in a dumb spot mate that’s for sure! Never seen the Raptor bonnet being installed I like that idea

What a cool rig, ge you get a lot of tech and a ute these days, pretty impressive stuff. I wonder what Ford will think of the Transmission Cooler when it come to warranty claims, Ford are notorious for be pricks to deal with.

I mean unless your doing a solid couple hours straight on the beach you shouldn’t have issues really it never gets hot on the road, I remember rocket saying fords do run hotter than other cars.

Good choice to get an oil cooler. Even if it doesn't run hot, the cooler the better for the life of the rubber seals. Nice to hear your overall review of the Ranger Sport 2.0. Doesn't have a tacho?

Nah no tachometer mate just that simple line that shows the revs I might be being old asking for it but I would have been nice to have the option, I watched wholesales video on the seals getting hot then cold and becoming brittle which is why I started to look at a cooler plus the lower temps won’t hurt it.

Great video showing how the next gen ranger goes on the road and on the sand. I think it's key to put it in sand mode rather than 4L when on the sand. I know they're pricier than others but they really feel a class above more suv like than a diesel tractor. Looking forward to seeing the mods go on it mate.

Hey mate thanks for that I appreciate it, they are definitely great to drive and seem to be handling everything so far I have chucked at it I will put some decent tyres on and take it onto some tough stuff and see how she goes.

Definitely going 295/70/17 mate good size and readily accessible at lots of locations plus it will give me a touch of extra height, rims wise I’m going ROH Raids. I was looking at the new Geolander AT XD G017s I might give them a go!

I see now. Well, it is what it is. Ford makes the best-looking utes/pick up trucks in my opinion. Even the Everest is beautiful and drives like a dream. I own a fleet of different cars. However, Fords are just lemons. They break 10 X more often than Toyota, Nissan & Mazda. Yes there is no perfect manufacturer. I wish Ford took reliability seriously. They would give Toyota a run for its money with ease. Good luck mate!
