The Calm Before It All Goes Wrong. Moore River Camping With Next Gen Ranger and 200 Series
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Peaceful campsite nestled on the banks of the Moore River, and some 4WD fun.. Sounds great - right?
Our trip started and ticked all the boxes. If only we knew what was coming.
In part 1, we join forces with @RoaminintheRobbo for some fun with their family, Landcruiser 200 Series and test both the Next Gen Ranger and 200 towing the van and camper trailer in the bush.

Awesome spot isn’t it!
Sone tough and important decisions made and definitely the right call. Great to watch you calm problem solving with good advice when the going gets tough. Another great video in your series.

I wonder how much dust do you get in the ranger tub?
@Perth4WDandCamping

A bit of dust gets in for sure. I added dust strips from Grunt 4x4 and now very little dust makes it’s way into the tub 😁
Good spot ... Watch out for the TICKS down there !!!

Not sure mate. There’s another easier decent which joins half way down - I believe comes from the owners property
A lift won’t help with bottoming out. Only bigger tyres which you have 🙂

A lift will help with body clearance, approach and departure angles. Tyres will lift the body and give better diff clearance which a lift will not do but go from 33's to 35's you only gain 1 inch of lift not 2.

Thanks guys. Yeah combination of both ideal. I’ve gained a few inches with the 33s which has helped. The combination of 2” lift and tyres I’ve found works well on my previous vehicles
So how did it all go wrong

Stay tuned for Part 2 😉 This was the calm - next part things become a bit more stressful 😬

Glad you liked the video and taking the time to comment. Content will always be raw and unscripted meaning it might not be as polished as the professional KZreadrs - but will always keep things real. Trying to improve in front of the camera is a constant thing - this trip ended up being a little more stressful than most so probably didn’t help 🤪
