My niece was a massive Newton Faulkner fan. She passed away in December 2016. She requested this song be played at her funeral. It was very emotional. I've bought tickets to see him in Perth, Western Australia in November this year. I'm attending the concert on her behalf. I'm sure it will be amazing and can't wait to see him 💜xxx

The concert was last night in Fremantle. Newton was totally amazing but I was sad that he didn't include this song. I really wanted him to play it for my niece 😢

I came back to this song after 9 years... This song reminds of 2010. The time of my life.. Old life. Now am grown older and stuff... Alot of heartbreak and dramas later. Here I am... Alive. Same goes to you Reader... Aren't you also affected someway?.

This is a great song by a great artist...How this single didn't achieve top twenty status is beyond me. One day this will be widely regarded as a classic!

Not enough people know about this song! This is my favourite Newton Faulkner song. He doesn't so much play the guitar, music just flows out of him through it, whether he's tapping, strumming or hitting it, incredible =)

@Fo0O0oTBall you express yourself with talent. there are many ways of doing it. some don't have to be good or have any talent at all, yet they still express themselves. newton on the other hand, can do it either way. he walks into a room and you know what mood hes in. its really cool that he can come up with the lyrics he has because in just reading-not hearing them, you know exactly what hes talking about. that's expression. talent. determination and pure passion.

I remember when he appeared as a surprise guest at a folk festival to a crowd of about 200 so amazing and so talented, so good live as well
