I used to listen to this song when I was at rock bottom, many years ago. I've came a long way since then, but this song brings back so many memories. Thank you Newton Faulkner, this song helped me through so much! Damn.

I saw this guy on stage at Vfest as I was walking passed . I stopped and didnt move until he finished his set . I was hooked on his vibe this guy is amazing. On my way home from the festival I pulled into the service's and he was there with him guitars going to newquay the other direction I helped him load up the van and felt his pure humbling love . I wish him all the best he is an inspirational talent ♡

My son taught himself this song and recorded himself singing it on his IG. A week later, he died by suicide. We played this song at his funeral. I break down every time I hear it. Rest in Peace Sam. I'll see you on the other side. I love you.

@@poohbear7899 i know he loved me. And I him. The pain is truly passed on: the pain you leave behind excruciating. But I will carry it for him so that he will be at peace. I know what the suffering is like for you as well, as I have been there. Please, please, not just for those who you would leave behind but for yourself as well, get the help you need. Many, would miss you if you left. My son didn't think so, but he was so wrong. Big hugs to you.

this guy is absolutely amazing. Its quite the talent to be born with a great voice, to play the guitar/drumming, and to have the ability to write a lovely piece as he has done. Simply brilliant! No other words to describe it.

I saw him live last night at the iTunes festival, it was amazing, and everyone joined in when this song came on. It's truly beautiful, and Newton is a funny and cool person :)

I'm inclined to agree my friend. Each and every time I hear it I'm further convinced this will be played at my funeral

I never thought the day would come when I would consider a ginger man with dread locks cool. This song is a classic and I'll still think its a brilliant song in 50 years time.

Well apparently I was 8 when this was released on KZread, I’ve been listening to this song for a few years.. what a song. Still as good as ever, regardless of the year the song speaks for itself x

Extremely talented guy. I was lucky enough to catch him live in Glasgow a couple of months back......and he was superb!

Beautiful. He reminds me of my beautiful musician friend Dann Pinkney in New Zealand. Similar style, in a strange way, and I loved singing & performing with him. Drops of heaven.
