how amazing that John James went through depression, alcoholism, and addiction.... left Newsboys, and is now a preacher in Australia. God turned his life around. I really believe there are reasons things happen early in life, amd we can use our experiences to show the forgiveness of a Loving Savior, Jesus, who died for ALL. Equally placing our sins as far as from the east to the west, and giving us hope for eternal love, peace and the perfect presence of Him, for ever!

One of the greatest Christian rock bands ever! Many timeless hits have come from the Newsboys!❤🙏✝

I worked with John for years when he left Peter and the band, and moved back to Australia. Never a dull moment working with him, quite a funny guy.. great times, and loved hearing the stories from the band days.

World-class Christian music. This band was tight, relevant, well written, great lyrics and so much fun in concert. We learned of them through the Down Under the Big Top video. Watched it several times last week and was reminded of the geniuses them all. Thanks guys for allowing me the opportunity to raise my kids on some good music.

They really started out sounding like a new wave type band and gradually grew into their classic sound through the early to mid 90s. The mid-90s was peak newsboys untl the late 2000s

This song was waaaay ahead of it's time back then Gospel Rock wasn't heard of...#classic

Was Mills the one singing the higher notes starting around 2:29 as well?

This blew me away when I first heard it in the early 1990s. No ther Christian music sounded like this at the time. It was cool, and catchy and unapologetic. I still think it's great.

1 of the greatest Christian anthem songs , by 1 of the greatest Christian groups of all time. Petra , DC Talk, Stryper, Newsboys, Thank you Jesus for your music from these trailblazing artists for your glory.

I think that the woman who sang the background vocals deserves so much more credit than she gets.

My favorite Christian music band

First heard this song as a chaperon for our church group when we went to Centrifuge back in the 90's. This song has been in my head ever since. The group has evolved and still making beautiful Christian music. Many young adults have been brought to the Lord using the words in songs. Get them saved with whatever it takes because one day it will be too late. I am 65 years young and this type music still stirs my soul.

Love this so much!!!!! It never gets old :)

That's not Peter it's John James he's a motivational speaker now had lots of problems with addiction and left the group back in the 90s he's all good now rededicated his life

I think this was Filmed in my hometown of Virginia Beach ,I remember some Friends telling and we went and watched,Looks like our Famous pink hotel in the Background

@@ThisisGold1 absolutely the same, the energy from that album was just unbelievable. I saw them live at Acquire The Fire and when they were singing Breakfast they threw a box of captain crunch at me. It was such a magical experience we were all passing the captain crunch around and just had a blast.

Peter was actually quite pudgy around this time until he became the frontman and changed his look some years later

Love this song with John James! Glad he was Blessed to overcome his addictions! And he had his wife continues to spread the name of Jesus Christ!
