It did get a DVD release, but it's now hard to find. I use to own it both on VHS and DVD until I lost mine in storage

@@QuincyDisneyVegan Bootleg DVD sure. It's never had an official remastered commercial release on DVD. Believe me, I have actively looked for one since the beginning of DVD.

Bro just looking at the crowds from that era is crazy. I saw Peter and Phil 2 weeks ago and the crowd was just dead. I get its Christian music but what happened to having fun? Clearly these guys knew fun. Otherwise they wouldn't have done this.

This movie really shaped my sense of humor and love for the bizarre. It’s still amazing and hilarious. Thank you, Steve Taylor.

Newsboys reminds me of such a joyous time in my life. So much so i started bawling at the end of this.

My siblings and I grew up with this movie on vhs. 15 years later the band signed it! This movie is such a big part of my childhood! :)

I can't tell you how many times I looked at this movie. I'm literally quoting the lines right now.

Too funny! I had no idea this existed. I guess I wasn’t as big a Newsboys fan as I thought. Been going to their concerts and buying their albums since 1995.

I bought this when it came out, loaned it to a friend ....and well let’s just say this was this first time to watch it in over 15yrs and I still loved it.

I used to watch this as a little girl wow I’m so happy I found this

During a Q&A they had before a United show at Summerville, SC, I asked the band about possibly making another movie in the style of this but with today's lineup. They all stared at me for like 5 seconds before Duncan simply replied with "No." The crowd was dying. XD

@@leonmatthewsiv1699 I don't understand how that is. I haven't come across anybody who didn't love this. It came out when I was in Bible college and I'd show it to my dorm mates and they all loved it too. I have never seen a negative comment when it's shared online either.

Seen them in concert since Going Public on every tour. Meet and hung out with them in the 90’s and they were so awesome to hang out with. Bought this when it came out.

I still love this movie! When it was first released i gave copies of it to all my coworkers for Christmas. Even though i don't know what they thought about it or even if they liked it, God placed it on my heart to share it and a few other Christian videos i obtained as gifts for Christmas.

Wow I remember watching this like years ago when I was really little, now I get to show it to my girlfriend who really likes the newsboys

Saw this during Sunday night youth group as a kid and never forgot it. Found me a copy on VHS in 2011, but of course, who can play THAT anymore!? Perfectly happy seeing it here. Thank you for posting!

Get yourself a VCR and an RCA to HDMI converter cable and you will unlock a lot of happiness. You can watch that tape and start getting more classic CCM VHS

So happy you uploaded this! This movie was a major part of my childhood. I am going to stop watching so I can watch it with my family on Christmas!

Saw this when I was 13 years old. A local Christian bookstore was handing out free copies when you purchased the new Take Me To Your Leader CD album and a shirt. Saw it once, thought it was amusing. Went back to trading Star Wars customizable cards with friends while having newsboys cranked in the background. I like their music, their acting not so much. Ha ha!

I love this movie! :D It was one of the first Christian movie/videos I bought shortly after becoming a Christian in 96. I always wondered what ever happened to it or if I just imagined the whole thing. This is actually way better than I remember it being. :)

I grew up in Nashville and someone was selling a ton of these at a yard sale, so my mom bought one along with a Steve Taylor music video VHS, and we watched them all the time growing up. My best friends mom dated Jody Davis before Newsboys, so it was even more amusing to me. I still quote things from this film.

I love this movie. It's weird, bad and funny. Just a good fun movie.

I bought the VHS when it first came out. My kids wore it out long ago. They were practically raised on this and KISS meets the Phantom of the Park!

Good on ya, mate! I absolutely love that this movie is still out there and free for all. I just wish this got the acclaim it deserves. One of the funniest movies, Christian or otherwise, to ever be made.

Read about this a while back and was always curious. Glad I found it on KZread! If you like the Newsboys, cheesy comedy (think Pee Wee's Big Adventure), and have an hour to kill, you'll enjoy this!

@@brianbratcher5226 Also never knew Furler played drums while singing. I had thought he was drummer and then switched to vocals later. But now I know he did both for a time. Hard to do but he's talented enough to make it look easy
