They have to talk like a robot because that’s exactly how they’re taught. It’s taught in news anchor school. They’re forced to speak robotic Bc it’s supposed to allow other people to understand what they’re saying clearly without any accents too, because that makes people from say France almost unable to really understand English with a strong accent from New York or something

The higher ups most likely want professionalism. But they could've at least suspended her if they felt it was necessarily to discipline her.

They should also fire the stage manager who probably forgot to give her the cue, the management team who hired them both, and the owner who hired an incompetent management team, as well as the owner's parents for bringing an incompetent child into this world.

She didn't act laughing...which means she was terribly sorry...something like that will never happen to her again.

She was fired for daydreaming for less than two seconds, but the anchor who intentionally flipped off the camera was not?

This is disgusting. She did nothing wrong. She even recovered well and said all she needed to say. She should not have been fired nor is it right to publicize this information about her like she did something wrong. This was 6 years ago but I hope she’s doing well now.

Honestly that was NOT her fault, she should have been given at least a 10 second warning before the cameras just switched back to her. That's the fault if the studio crew, not her's.

Probably she is rejected whoever responsible for this for sexual favor and make her fired by setting her up this happened in office pretty common. I mean i know that feel when you rejected by someone but she or he still working with you at the same place that'd awkward. And if she warned her no matter how deep you're daydreaming you'd notice it immediately when people speak or giving you signal.

I mean that I agree that news anchors do not to be so stiff all the time. They should be happy and smiley and relaxed, as long as the news is mentioned correctly.

The person who fired her was probably hitting on her and she refused to give in. This looks very personal.

Fire whoever fired her as soon as the first mistake Surely there's been one made already, nobody gets to such a position in any short time 🙂

I can bet you the boss was waiting for the smallest opportunity to fire her because she didn't put out or something else. The boss loathes her for some reason.
