Will you be at the 2019 Shootout to take a closer look at the Xona Rotor turbochargers?

Yes, absolutely! Working with your team to arrange some level of sponsorship so we can share the love. As well, we will have quite a few competitors running the new UHF turbine.
great info- we need to see dyno comparisons vs the competition apples to apples

Robert's the MAN!
Good info here, thanks!
Shane T in the background stole my attention. Great video and turbine design!
Awesome. Stumbled on this looking for info on how to best replicate the mass of the fragile but extremely responsive RB25det Ceramic Turbine wheel but with a material that’s stronger and better suited for the operating conditions of a turbine while still being as light as possible and hopefully retaining a degree of low heat sink and induction characteristics of ceramics. I would be hoping for the ability easily withstand the conditions required produce approximately 320-360rwKw @7200-7500 rpm and 600-650Nm at 4700-5200rpm (overly basic I know but basically, what is THE BEST suited material/alloy for turbine wheel in a turbocharger in respect to usual parameters, PLUS the ability resist heat induction. What is max shaft speed and torque values and what was the energy input required to achieve it, in terms of volumetric flow, pressure and temp (in C or K please) Do you have any data or spreadsheets for the comparison of different housing size, trim, AR ratio and the likes?

I just got the Xona XR 6157S for my 9th Gen Si. Upgraded from a Comp 6062 journal so going to be a nice step up. Interested to see how much power the Xona can make and how fast is the spool.

Hey man how did you go with it
For my future honda
Roberts def a good guy! I would like to see the difference between the older xona rotors and the new design. I'm currently thinking about going with xona rotor after my FP hta 35r got stolen. It just sucks having to spend that type of cash again but I'm def interested in the xona! Great product from fp!
Haven't seen these come out yet. When are these going to be available?

He’s definitely got the scientific head

Rob you didn’t say “BOOST ON” !!!!!
What happens when the screen gets clogged? This is why they took them out of the Subies. ;)

Anthony Allen - NOAA Federal there where never screens in the “subies”. I’m If you run the inline filter/restricter you are supposed to run you won’t have any issues. Clean is isn’t a bad idea either.

It is a significantly larger screen than what was in the Subaru banjo bolt, so I doubt it will have a clogging issue with nearly as much frequency, especially if not neglected.
@802Garage

@@Yota4wd420 Subaru did use small mesh screens in the turbo feed banjo bolt off the back of the passenger head. If a car has infrequent oil changes or sits for a long time, the screens often become clogged, limiting oil flow to the turbo, causing failure.
