You don't get registration for PhD. If you want to be a teacher, You have to do a course that gives you that access.

I assessed my NZQA. GOT LEVEL 8. I did Pte could not reach 65 for reading. By doing pte again and getting 65 for it , shall I collect them and get the registration?

Does your email says that your qualifications are sufficient to be a teacher? Which category ? If so email teaching council and ask them whether they allow you to give the english requirement as you have suggested. All the best

Yes you can. Usually there is an interview before giving you the offer letter so you tell them a fair reason why you couldn't work. For example, you were pregnant, a parent was sick, you had baby to lookafter so.ething similar which is reasonable. Good luck

Its great that you have good qualifications from different aspects but i think NZ doesn't give registration for these unless you have received pre school qualifications from a country that I have mentioned in the video. I know it is frustrating but unfortunately that's the truth. Best of luck

Thanks for the informative video. At the moment I am in New Zealand with my family(Recently moved). My wife was g overnment English Teacher in Sri Lanka. She got her appointment after completing National Diploma in Education (Vidyaa Peeta). After that She has completed Bachelor of Arts External Degree in University of Sabaragamuwa. Now She want to obtain Teaching council registration in New Zealand. I have two issues to clarify. 1. Can she obtain required NZQA status to get registered in Teaching council based on the qualifications she already got? (As it will cost 765 NZD to access NZQA teaching assessment, it is a risk to apply without any idea about the results 🙂) 2. If she can't, can you please tell a good and lower cost Graduate Dipoloma to follow from either Primary or ECE? Thanks a lot.

Im a science fresh graduate from private university and hoping to do my highers studies in NZ. If I want to be a preschool teacher as a part time job, the first thing I have to do is complete the NZQA assessment right? Still I havent preschool teaching experience. So is it some kind of disadvantage for that assessment..if so wht is the suggestion for that
