My favorite from the archetype showed in the card game chronicles has to be the Charmers because that's my favorite archetype in Yu-Gi-Oh

Yeah, I’ve always thought the Charmers were cool, so now seeing the more recent support and merch they got now along with this makes me happy they’re solidified as a staple of Yugioh.

​@@GatorEXYGOyeah I felt the Charmers have come so far over the years that they've become insanely popular to having merch like figures, card sleeves, playmats, plushies, etc. But I do feel that Konami should focus on making more support cards that directly have synergy with the archetype themselves. I do hope this presentation does something for them in the future

I was at the middle of locals when this dropped. I'm kind of disappointed people weren't as excited as I was.

Albaz Strike got me back into the card game after a break wherein I couldn't build enough interest to bulld a new deck. Lo and behold, I'm still hooked due to Albaz's contact fusion mechanic and the storyline. I would absolutely love even a miniseries depicting events from that storyline as it has ingrained itself as one of the main reasons I continue to love this ridiculously complex game

As someone who just recently got into yugioh, this looks totally wicked! Begging Konami to continue these short animations!

Always good to have characters be like they are from an anime. The cards are pretty cool.

I like how Duel Terminal, Albaz and Vsauce got the epic animations/art... And then Diabellestar was just sleeping with her magic pets. Makes me think her story will be more light-hearted than the rest.

The charmers look adorable, especially my girl Lyna

I'm happy Konami hasn't forgotten about Dharc and Lyna now. They deserves more love with new supports that have artworks of them and soon scale figures like the original 4 have.

3:47 Diabellstar with her Snake Eye friend just chillin. On the bottom left. It looks as though she passed out due to heroin or weed or something (empty bottles). 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hope they turn the Diabellstar/Sinful Spoils/Goblin Riders rivalry into a full blown anime series.

It's most likely bottles of black nail polish. One of her sinful spoils (the green claws) likes for her to be cute and paints her nails black, disapproving of the other spoils wanting her to work out

Imo I don't think this is just a demo but a proof of concept to test the reaction for a full series If it's only purpose was to announce their animation studio then why devote the ENTIRE THING to Yu-Gi-Oh and not just have each segment be a different Konami IP? And if they're NOT doing a Yu-Gi-Oh anime then why use it EXCLUSIVELY to promote your new studio rather than another big Konami IP like Metal Gear or something more generic if they're just gonna outsource and take projects from others? Nah call it copium but I think this means we're getting more And outside of what they've already shown (including Ice Barriers, Albaz, and Magistus as starting points for their entire story saga's and not just the archetypes individually) I want Deskbots, Super Quantum, Dark World, and Dragonmaids

I would be really excited to see an anime about the lore in the Yu-gi-oh cards! ❤

Dude, this animation was so good! Not gonna lie, I would love to see an anime about the Evil Twins. Which triggered a realization. What if they actually are just twins, and not lovers, as many think? I only thought of this, because I've been watching a lot of FuwaMoco lately, a team of twin demon dog vtubers. They're just so close to each other, being twins and all, that they can do all kinds of silly and weird things. And Twin is in their name. Wait...Fuwamoco are also escaped convicts.... "Oh. I'm die. Thank you forever."

My favorite characters shown are the Earth Spirit Charmer and the Evil Twins but the best animation goes to Divine Arsenal, Six Samurai, Dogmatika... who am I kidding the whole thing was great, if this was the norm for Yu-Gi-Oh I'd be a fan.

This looks so Amazing as just like you and most likely with everyone else when I first saw this was going to be some kind of New and Innovated Anime for Konami, and I kind of hoped it would be an Anthology Anime, where each episode is based on each Yu Gi Oh Archetype and perhaps each season containing about 15 to 20 episodes. In Fact I'll even take this as 7 to 10 minutes Short Films hare on KZread.

Really funny thed was the with the live stream, amazing to see

Not really, this was just a presentation Konami did during the 25th Anniversary livestream introducing us to their new animation studio and showcasing the popular archetypes with lore behind them. If anything this might be the gateway for Konami to get started on making an actual series based of the archetypes themselves rather than a series advertising the card game. Not only that, this also gives Konami free reign to animate their other IPs such as Metal Gear Solid, Contra, Silent Hill, Suikoden, and Castlevania
