@@HJules-cw6fb Jackson Heights is fantastic. I want nothing to do with people saying this is not New York City. This is the best of NYC, under the 7 train tracks on Roosevelt Av. in Jackson Heights. Many different ethnicities are here and not only from Latin America. And yeah, it's been this way since the 80s, probably 70s. This is the best of NYC, when it is multi-cultural.
Although I love the Diversity and culture that's going on right now I do feel that it is getting a little bit too much out of hand. It's making New york look more congested and trashier.

What an eye-opening video! Block after block - each one its own country, language, ethnic foods (oh I'd love to sample from some of those food carts!) the blocks crowded with vendors and merchandise... scaffolding replaced with overhead train structures... certain blocks would be overloaded with sketchy businesses preying on the poverty with "No Credit Needed" or sleezy cell phones to loan shark fast-money payday loans... Then the beautiful older established businesses that has called Queens home from the beginning - just remarkable to see so many countries all rolled up in one space! I loved seeing couples hold hands and smile at each other! (I don't recall seeing much of that on 5th Avenue...)
