    Oh the joys of the 464, when I was there, we had BBC drivers saying they couldn't handle the 464 despite us Rosso drivers being lower paid...always made me chuckle, and even funnier when running it on a Sunday and catching the one up in front because of a slow driver etc...

    How do you find the Versa’s to drive? I’ve driven the odd Solo nippy vehicles when behaving themselves, cab space however leaves a lot to be desired 😬

  • @anthonyleecooke

    @anthonyleecooke

    5 ай бұрын

    We have two variants of Versa's the 16 plate ones are Cummins engines and gearboxes they lovely to drive and well behaved but they have stupid Smart seats in the driver cab which adjusted the suspension based on your weight so I end up bouncing all over the place. The 18 plate ones which are on the 464 the cab and seat are good could do with somewhere to put a drink, (B10 & Eclipse spoil you for space) but unfortunately these are pain to drive constant downshifts from the gearbox almost kicking off your seat. If was given a choice I would rather put up with bad seat position or have Volvo.

    Understandable. I think just the way our company is set up. As I'm an academy driver, I went through the Train school they put on the Rosso side which is split between 3 depots. If you work with places like Blackburn bus or Burnley bus co you tend to do local work. That's what I'm led to believe

    Hi, obviously I don't represent the company in a way but I will give you my honest opinion I've been driving for about a year and five months, and went through their academy to gain my license. Most drivers that join us with a licence will come to team Rosso and be on the 464, there's always opportunities for overtime on other routes. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. I personally enjoyed the job, I've worked in other sectors like telecommunications and the professional IT industry. I'm not 100 certain if I'm allowed to make videos but I thought it's a good insight into industry for some people.
