I like them just as they are.I had an electron blue 02 vette .I put a set of 18+19s from a 09.fatter chrome Gumby spokes.silver int.& silver heritage stripes on the fender.red calipers& z06 brake cooling ducts.so it looked like a grand sport!

I have the Polo Green convertible version of the 95C4. The top is light tan like the interior of both of our cars. For me, bronze would be a hit. Since you have a coupe, I’d stay w silver. Or... maybe paint the back edges of the spokes bronze keeping the face silver? Like the trident C8 wheels? Spitballing here.

Browns would go really good with the green and the tan interior I agree with you That's the way you should go

The wheel style looks great! Silver, or bronze will look good on the green.

I don't think you can go wrong with either color.. Absolutely love that spoke design.. just awesome.

Absolutely go with the Bronze wheels with the metallic green C5. The green is already rare and Bronze will enhance the look. Chrome and silver are so common.

With the Corvette's dark green exterior and natural interior, the BRONZE is the best complimentary color for an extra flair of elegance!

Silver is fine.

Bronze is the way to go with green. Assuming 18/19 front rear? Do a C6Z06 brake swap, get them coated Bowling Green.

Go with the bronze.

That's what I was thinking as well!

Like that polished silver .. almost 11 years old tires thats a no bueno. Shame with all that tread left, but 6 years old should be the age cutoff

On saturday I'm going to see Corvette C5 just the same like yours, the same colour and MY 2000, but manual. I'm exciting but a little afraid. I hope that will be OK and I buy it. To be honest I don't know which parts I must really check.

Chrome or gloss black, especially with the green

I like the ones you have on it now. It's what I have on mine. And yes, I got a new set of the originals for mine a couple of years ago. I could have any wheel I wanted but, I got new stock type in chrome. The new ones you got do look good too.

Yes. The rear especially needs it.

Go with black .

I would want a 19x10.5 or 11.0 for the rear to run a 305 tire. 9.5 is a good width for the front if you can get it to clear a big brake kit which may be tough with that design. But a 9.5 wide rear wheel is a deal breaker for me! What are the current offsets?

Justin, I think I like the bronze color better because altho the silver is nice, it adds a third contrast to the green exterior and the Kalahari interior and may be a bit too much contrast. But I do like the new wheels more than the stock ones. Cant wait to see what you do!

Silver is best in my opinion.

The brushed silver by a mile. I'd kind of like to see what they look like in chrome as well. It's a great design. When you say they are going to "adjust them for you". Are you saying that Black Diamond is going to tweak the offsets to better fit the C5. That would be great ,and I would be greatly interested for my C5. Good vid, thanks.

The bronze may look great but you don’t know if they are better than the silver without seeing them in person to compare. The silver looked awesome. A great contrast with the dark green paint. Gold/Bronze goes well with Green. Try doing a computer comparison on the wheel site if you can. If not, then go with the silver.

I think out of the two I will go with the silver, but if it was mine I would have the chrome, but great improvement either way!! Just a Good looking car period !!!

I'd go with the silver wheels since the colors that compliment dark green are: white, light grey and beige, with silver being close to light grey which contrasts with the body color. Whereas bronze can cause ones eyes (brain) to shift from one to the other and is said to be visually tiring since the two colors sort of compete with one another for attention. I say that since photography is a hobby of mine and color theory is a significant part of that. Btw, since you're a guy who do you ask which tie you should wear? ;)

It's going to end up being +45 and +55 I think.

I like wheels with multi spokes, however those wheels are are ALL spoke and lean a little to bling for me nice wheels really make lmprove the appearance of almost all cars but I want people to say look at that beautiful car not wow look at those wheels.

Brushed silver,,,gold will make it look gaudy

If the C5 was a convertible with a tan top, I would say go bronze on the wheels. The green is really dark, it needs something to contrast with, so black is out. Chrome is too flashy for modern tastes, so I say stick with the brushed finish.

Yup. I've seen them! They offer all kinds of custom colors but of course, they cost more than their basic blacks or silvers.

What size are these wheels, what offsets do they have. Are you going square or a staggered setup.

Love your C5…. Have a question: would you buy a similar C5 6 speed manual or a 2012-13 Mustang GT 6 speed manual ? I love the C5 cant go wrong with either one but i want to get either a C5 or a Mustang GT as i get closer to retirement in about 4-5 years from now. I’m sure all this crazy used prices will be back to “normal” by then also. Thanks !

I'm torn! The silver looks so good!

First off, I love, no, I REALLY love the design of the wheels. Can you get these wheels in chrome? Sure I like chrome, especially on the darker colors and the green is a prime candidate for chrome, But for this reply, as of now I'll say GO BRONZE or go home. Oh wait, you're already home.🤣 Yep, I"d be torn between chrome and bronze, but I think the bronze would win out here. How will you decide on the size to put on these wheels? To me the more rubber that meets the road, but I know you'll have limitations, so that's why I'm asking. FWIW, no matter what wheels you end up with, I'd be tempted to paint the Blaque Diamond emblem on the center caps green to match the body. I'm sure you already have your "wheels in motion" by now, but if not, ask Blaque Diamond to send you two Bronze wheels. That's it. As always,😉, I want to catch you Save'n and Wave'n!👋🏼

I'm with ya, peter! The design is amazing and the color thing really had me torn. I live the brushed silver on this car but I'm thinking bronze might be awesome too. I don't think either way is a bad decision. No chrome offered on these wheels, unfortunately.

Thank you Justin. No chrome available doesn't have me cry'n and wine'n. BRONZE IT IS THEN! But once again, I have to repeat, the design of these wheels has my wheel's spinning! I think they'd be great on any generation from the C5 through to the C8! Definitely not for a C4 and below., but then again, different strokes for different folks. Do let me/us know on the tire sizes you're going with. I'm like you on fitment in that I don't like any protrudement (my new word) beyond the fender well.

You're very welcome! I will definitely be keeping everyone up to date with tire sizes and all the specs that this specific setup requires. Apparently, the C5 Corvette is a dead spot for info with regards to wheel info.

New wheels on an older car is like a fashionable new dress on an older but still attractive lady. I like the choice and a color change would be even more interesting...but there is always the argument of what is "original"...an argument that would not help the attractiveness of that older lady. BTW...looking at the wheel choices and car photos...I sure like the look of a C8 without that factory spoiler.
