Glad you discovered this. I have been doing the same for many years. And even easier, the head doesn’t even have to come off for some head models. I feed the ends through the outlet, push to lock and wind the head. When at the end just cut the line so it’s even on both tails. Too easy.

I see you removed the safety guard on the second machine that was hanging up, I know it is for safety and protecting surroundings, I want to try and remove mine to get more reach, any ideas? An easy way to measure it out is to step on one end and pull it up to your nose, then step on the other end and pull it up to your nose and cut. I think the spool will hold up to 6 feet on each side. so if your nose is more than 6 feet just step on a bigger piece. It works great...

Honestly, I haven't had to be that 'Lawn Keeper', Guy to the extent of using a weed eater in the past. Let alone doing any type of maintenance. But, your video made it real easy to loading new string. I didn't find any of the Black Diamond you mentioned. Ended up with Husqvarna Titanium Xbox Pro with the wire through the middle. Thanks for the Video Bro.👍👍👍
