Oh how I wish you'd do some tutorials on basic watercoloring. It's something so many of us want to learn but don't know where to get the instruction. Your skill is wonderful.

You did a beautiful job on the pepper. I am going to give mine a try. I use Mission Gold watercolors. They are very vibrant and easy to use. Plus they are artist grade but don't carry an expensiive price tag if you purchase their sample set, which has a lot of paint and colors.

Thanks for sharing, I have one of the "Painterly days" and had some major issues with the paper so I'm not sure to try another of this books.

I wish you would show us how you use all variety of water media in these books! The pepper is beautiful! Thank you.

Also, that frog painting that you don't like in the other book - I think its beautiful. It's so bright.

Stunning! Mine is already on their way as I've ordered them a few weeks ago. The are 4 in total in this series, one for each season. The. summer and spring are out (which I ordered) - If You're interested, you can watch the flip of the spring on kristy's channel, it's gorgeous as well. The other two will be out in about a month I think. Would love to see how you fared with the watercolor pencils as well. I think I saw you tried working with them on one of your Painterly Days book, it looked quite nice as well. Enjoy playing with your new book :)

Really glad to see this because it means the book is finally ready. There seems to have been a lot of delays on it. I've had mine on pre-order for months and months. Looks like it's about to ship. Very pretty drawings and on lovely watercolour paper. I am looking forward to it.

Do you ever go out of the lines? You're watercolor videos are way beyond what I can do as a beginner!

her new book seems smaller then the old one. And the lines is also darker. Somehow i prefer her old book with has each picture printed twice. so that you can colour the same picture twice in case you dont like the turn out of the first one.

Yes, the new books are slightly smaller, 8.5x11 inches verses 9x12. Many folks didn't like the same artwork on both sides...We wanted the two series to compliment eachother and also please as many fans as possible so we decided this series would have a blank page on the backside for free style practice. the paper is still the same so your practicing won't bleed through. The lines are a shade darker, again to accommodate a lot of the feedback we received for the first series. I found though that the darker lines still fade away as you paint... Happy painting!

I am about to purchase Flowers coloring book so I thought to check out how is the book from the inside, which is lovely. Thank you for the video which enabled me to decide which one to buy.. What watercolors are you using. Soooo beautifull!!

Is this new one actually proper watercolour paper? I have one of the other ones (woodland I think). While it is sturdy card type paper that stands up brilliantly to water colours; it isn't actually water paper/card with the usual mottled effect.

Beautiful book, can i color in this book with zig clean color brush. Is it blending good?

Yes, they should be fine to use with this book as it's watercolor paper.

Lovely book, as usual. But am disappointed in one thing. Her other books had two pages of the same picture. So one could practice, or mess up, and still have another clean page to give the picture another try. I wonder why she didn't do that again.
