Cold-Start & pure exhaust SOUND footage of the all-new 2020 / 2021 VW Tiguan R! This entirely new car is based on the Tiguan Facelift and is powered by a revised 2.0 TSI delivering 320hp & 420 Nm of torque (total weight ca. 1730 kg) A very important feature isn't only the Akrapovic exhaust but especially the Active differential which allows "Torque splitting" and up to 100% of the power to one rear wheel. And boy sometimes those pops are HUGE! Amazing how loud this goes through the city;) But please watch yourself and tell me your thoughts? @@ians6120 Do you mean the manufacturer? If so it's Akrapovic. But if you're looking for a partnumber it probably differs depending on the market.

gerade bei den Fahrten zwischen den Wohnhäusern hört man sehr gut heraus wie krass der manchmal schießt. Das hallt ja einmal durch die komplette Nachbarschaft 😳😁👍

Vom Klang im der Hubraumklasse kommt meiner Meinung nach im Serien zustand nix gegen den neuen focus st an. Der knallt richtig hinten raus .

Yes but it's because in Europe they have PPF and need to make up for the loss of sound. For some reason in Australia we don't have PPF and it sounds loud even compared with optional akrapovic.
I'm done with VW after 3 GTI's and now a Golf R, it all feels too familiar. My crappy dealership experience didn't help either.
Hört sich nicht schlecht an, sieht gut aus aber ist irgendwie halt schon ein einheitsbrei bei vw: golf r, golf gti, t roc, tiguan alles die gleichen 2 Liter alles ca gleich schnell und ca gleicher sound... bisschen langweilig find ich

WorldWide HipHop Gibt ja zum Glück noch andere Marken die nicht den EA888 haben. Aber es ist nie schlecht eine große Auswahl an Modellen zu haben, es gibt genug Kunden für jede der VW 2 Liter Versionen sonst würden sie die nicht alle anbieten.

@@UweNielbock naja audo ballert jetzt auch überall den 3 liter diesel in alles vom a4 über sq5 bis s6 Mercedes und Bmw bietet dir noch alles vom 35 43 45 55 63 von 4 bis 8 zylindern alles dabei. Und die Amis geben dir dann für den Preis eines a35 einen V8 sauger mit sound. Mich stört einfach dass VW jetzt noch überall die akra drauf haut.
I bet it will be a gas guzzler this. Lucky to get 18mpg around town. In my Cupra 280 DSG I only get 21mpg around town
What Akrapovic exhaust kit did you buy for this? Or was this a custom build?

I think the build quality is better in this compared to t-roc r which i drove and didn’t like. Very plastic interior and as i currently drive a 66 plate golf R i felt the t roc was a down grade not an upgrade

Nope it is a new VW system for transversal engines programmed to send more power to the rear
Good but i like the Sq5 todsicher more . Ist has more Power and a 6 Zylinder
I hate that our Tiguan’s in the USA don’t ever come this nice! My fiancé just got a 2022 SEL-R in white but doesn’t have the power or extra goodies this one has!

Switty003 No, this one has an integrated headrest. The whole seat is different as well because its a Tiguan not a Golf. Even the design on the seat is not the same it just looks a bit like the TCR one.

Da hat VW echt ein schönes Auto auf die Beine gestellt und die Pops und Bangs gefallen mir auch echt gut, aber ansonsten kommt da leider nichts mehr raus und ohne Sound ist das Knallen nicht meins, das muss schon harmonieren 😬
