20/20 hindsight... The next time that you want to make a fitted panel, you may want to make a template from cardboard for the curved cuts. Make the template a little wider than the deepest cut. Tape sections of cardboard together if needed. Make the panel in two sections a few centimeters (or inches) wider than needed. A seam near the center allows you to cut a straight line to get the proper combined width. The fitted sections can then be used as a template to make a one piece covering the proper size and shape, or the cardboard templates can be reused to cut tiles or boards to the proper shape. This works for floors, walls, or ceilings. The right tool for the job... You have two saws, but you used the wrong one to make end cuts (cross cuts) for your flooring. The circular saw would have made the cross cuts (end cuts) quicker and straighter. Only use the jig saw when you need to make a contoured (curved or shaped) cut. A carpenter's square makes 90° cuts much simpler, I did not see one. (A speed square has even more uses.) A rubber hammer would have made snugging up the floor pieces together easier. ... All of this is a little too late to be of any help on this project, but some of it may be of use in the future. BTW, offering advice does not mean that I'm smarter, it just means that I have lived longer and made more mistakes. 😂

*IVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY* to see someone else happy...!!!
OMG, you two are so cute together!! I didn't think you could get more adorable! Also, considering what you're using you did great!
Yea for team work! And yes, that was a tool. Absolutly. Thanks for sharing this I was smiling all the time. Can't wait for next videos of reno. And please, be careful with electro tools!
I enjoy how she added stabilization to the cutting area. We were on the same page there.
Love the can do attitude if at first it don't fit just keep going till it does and floor is gonna look amazing when it's done can't wait to see the other transformations you have in store for the van
You two are the cutest ever! ❤️ I can't wait to see the finished build!
You two are adorable! Very happy for you Nicole!
You certainly were having good, wholesome fun, great to see, and looking forward to seeing all you achieve.
Ooh that's a wicked van!!! I want to get a small van like that, or Chev Astro, that's AWD, put a little lift kit on it and some good tires for minor off roading...yours seems already set for that...and do a combination of camping and urban stealth camping. That van looks like a perfect choice.
That's the way to do it! Sneak up on it! Measure twice and cut once. You did an outstanding job and I love your new vehicle. You picked my favorite color!! 💙💙💙
You two are the cutest 🥰. The truck is starting to look amazing
It’s great to see you are no longer alone love the vehicle renovation 👍
Nice to see that Savannah has a pair of little guns also. Y'all make a good if not great couple. Thank you Nicole for sharing this video with us. May y'all have a good one. Have fun take care
So happy for you , you found someone to love wishing you both best wishes and much love together take care ❤️
you two are so freaking adorable. van's looking good too.
You really need a Black and Decker workmate. Not sure what they call them there but folding workbench. The old ones are best and super cheap. I have a couple of spares you can have free - but you pay the postage 😂
You two are SO ADORABLE! 😱 Nice work on your new van 😇
I don't modify vans but I did remodel a 160+ year old house and the subfloor struggle is real
Dig those Delicas. Thomas Heaton Photography has a real cool one too. Looking forward to seeing more. Cheers!
Nicole, I can relate to that. I'm no carpenter but after many, many cuts to get the darn thing to fit in there nicely. Not perfect but hey whos going to know, except you.😂😂 Nice work both of you. In the future you might want to put up curtains or something to give you privacy. But I'm sure that's your next project. Have fun and be safe. Love ya❤❤❤
Your SO has some decent pipes too, kudos.
This was fun to watch! Wish you lots of good trips!
4:45 that’s exactly the way I would love to work. Repeat 30 times to get it almost right. But truth is, after 6, i used a hammer to make it feet. And glue the broken parts 😅 You’re my patience heroine.
This is going to be super cosy when you're done! Can't wait to see it progress.
Wow, on two levels. First, so happy to see you have a loving partner. You seem beautiful together 😊😊. On a lesser note, with regard to the van work, been there/done that. Watching your video is like watching myself work on such projects 😊😂😊. Thank you for sharing!
What can't this Handy-Woman do ?!? Nice work - hope yer new van is super comfy for road trips.
Your ability to not lose your temper and swear a blue streak is quite impressive.
Love is love! It is for everyone! Without question. I hope the whole world understands this soon. This video is an important way of showing this. I am sorry that this needs pointing out, as this should be as natural as anything, but it is. Okey dokey!! I like this series, and looking forward to the next step in this series of van life
The smile, the sparkle in the eye - definitely Love with a capital L. Great work on the van ( glad Savannah tied her hair back), but it definitely needs a place for axe's♥️
Las amor, una pareja increible y muy divertida. Disfruten el proyecto de construir su camioneta!!
The snacks in the van while you were working was perfection. Can't wait to see your progress in the next video!
You are always the smile to start the day.
I wish I had a Mitsubishi Delica. They seem like great vehicles. Best of luck with it.
Cool Delica! Looking forward to part two!
reminds me of when we tried to make a parcel shelf for my friends car out of MDF for his speakers to go into, took forever to get it right!
Oml y’all are so cute together, I can’t wait to see how the van turns out!
Cool project ! Hope we'll see more of it !
This was educational. And funny. :)
Is that a right-hand drive? Didn't know they had those in Canada.

They do in Canada, not common though.

15-year import rule. Lots of Japanese vehicles. Except in Québec, they banned registration of right-hand-drive vehicles.

Great if you are driving a rural post route, though.
Props to you for your persistence with the plywood floorboard. I would've said "fuck it, i'm coming back to this tomorrow".
Nicole you are a skilled blacksmith. I admire.
Love the comradery and the van! But Savannah really needs to tie her hair back! Im scared for her!
Happy to see you so happy!
What a fun project and such relatable content in the process 😂❤
Enjoyed that, cant wait for part 2😊
a square is great for keeping your saw straight. they are a must with any sort of remodel.
This Dialogue was classic😂😂😂 I’m definitely subscribing
Good to see you kids having fun
I was waiting for the carpet munching. That’s something we all would like to see in our van conversion
Awe the feels ❤ You guys are so cute!
