New UE5 Plugin - Easy Environment Creation
Фильм және анимация
In this tutorial, Josh shows how one can work faster in Unreal Engine 5 using our new plugin Dash. You can leverage Dash to quickly add detail to your scene with just a few prompts and sliders.
In this specific scene, Josh Powers worked solely with Megascans assets to make sure everybody could follow along. If you are feeling inspired and want to give Dash a try, we are currently hosting a Contest in our Discord about creating the best environment with Dash and 3D toys.

That means a lot!
Seems super cool but why no lock aspect ration and presets for common frame sizes - its always been super super annoying to not be able to lock the ratio so i could get a 16:9 quickly or 4:3 - id have to open after effects adn try and translate the numbers to get a ratio - its such in incredible lack of common setups in Unreal that other tools have - most digital content 3d and 2d deal in rations to render stuff more than camera sizes of filmback settings

We'll be shipping common presets in 1.5.0 early in January! :)
If I wanted to stop scattering where water is at by painting a mask, would that be easy to do?
@theadnart1
6 ай бұрын
Most of the time, since your water is usually on a flat plane, you could use the "min height mask" to remove any scattering below the water. If your water is not on a flat plane, then you could do some vertex painting on your scatter surface, then in your scatter tool, use the vertex color masking feature.
Love this plugin. Wish there was a one-off payment price for it though.

How do you stop the flowers going under the water?

There's a Height Mask property under the "Feature Masking" group. You can adjust the value, or invert it with the circle icon on the right corner of the property.
