Superb review.. good to see Triumph bringing features used in racing down to production bikes... their success in Moto 2 having a good effect on safety too

Thank you for the thorough review. I just picked up my Cosmic Yellow RS on Saturday and I can say you had a hand in tipping me over the R version by going through all the points. Plus, better suspension and the ability to install cruise control; no brainer! So far I have put 140 mi (225 km) on it and hands down it's the best bike I have ever owned or ridden, period, and I absolutely adore my FJR1300ES. Hopefully she didn't hear me type that. Keep up the great moto-journo work, Juliane, you're doing fantastic reviews.

Simply awesome. I have been follow your chanel for a long time. i like the way in which you are able to speak about the features and also all related to riding. This Triumph is incredible, the amount of new features make the bike probably the queen of middle weight. But one of the problem that I am able to find is the brands are realising models lighter and lighter, although it coulb be a great feature, in case of big raiders it is not the best. I hava had the opportinity to ride the previous model and when I got on the bike, I felt I was handeling a mini moto, I felt like a giant, therefore, even when the bike is pretty more nimble and easy to ride I would really like the brands don´t forget big and muscular people. We need to feel that we are riding something big that fit with our shape. Thank you so much for your reviews

l own a 2014 675R....whats not to likes. It sounds fantastic, especially .. when you give it a bit 'o' wellie!.. Handles superbly. Suspension is adjustable from stiff to very stiff, but thats okay ...just try to avoid bad road surfaces....On a twisty road its wonderful...l swopped out the standard exhaust to a free flowing one...fitted a quick shifter, adjustable levers plus a few 'bling' items...Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 ....they grip well and last longer than the standard Corsa tyres that were fitted when new....The Triumph Street Triple.... the benchmark of Triples....

I bought a 2023 rs in Daytona, about a month ago.plus I got a 2022 s1000r,up in New York.wish the Beemer was here,Vero Beach Fla,so I could ride em,back 2 back.if u r looking for a baby 750,around town,hooligan bike.i 100% recommend the street trip rs..I smoke any chump,that gets in my way.excepting zx 14's and Busas,of course. The handling and breaks,are phenomenal, on this baby hooligan..if u got the coin,please grab one!! U won't be disappointed, ever!!

Great review. I love Triumphs and currently have a Speed Triple 1200 RS but I also bought the Street Triple Moto 2 edition, in white. I unfortunately have to wait until July for it but really looking forward to it! Keep doing your reviews, I watch all of them! Thanks!

In the middle of the video I was about to ask where bumblebee has been...but here it is at 15:40. I would go for RS in yellow without hesitation, but it was only six months since I picked up Trident.:D Great video, both in terms of editing & huge dose of precise knowledge!

Great review. I love the Street Triple, and the Moto2 Edition looks awesome but they’ve all gone! I prefer the look of the TFT on the R. Lara at Bike World says unless you are taking the bike on track then the R is all you need, listening to your review I’m sure you agree. Great video! 🙏

Very thorough discussion on both the versions. I think the pricing premium of the RS is fair. Unfortunately with my countries currency the difference is too much. I'll settle with an R. I am only using it for the road so I'll be perfectly happy with the bike. Just missing that beautiful yellow. I do want to try a track day one day, but think I could get a cheap used faired sports bike later to thrash around.

Awesome checkup of both bikes! I testrode the RS 2 days ago and GEEEZ, I HAD A BLAST. Normally I would go for the cheaper R but the yellow of the RS is soo beautiful I think I have to spend the additional 2k€ to get the "bumblebee" version :D

I have been riding a 2020 Ninja 400 for a couple seasons the RS is going to be my next upgrade this summer. Such a great looking bike can't wait to get one, not sure what color really like the red though.

My only question, last year the Black Carbon RS version, same new look, came out (w/ dark bronze rims) is this different than the RS you reviewed, and how? I can’t seem to figure this out.

I was wondering that. I think carbon black is 2022, 7 bhp less and no cruise control option

White with the lime green trellis subframe for me please and thank you. What? Sold out? The moto 2s will hold value really well. My 06 S31050 already attracts so much discussion at meet-ups. The triples are timeless legends. From the Rs to the 1200 RRs. Julianne has a review on the 1200 RR as well. Definitely recommend

Vornweg.... tatsächlich mal ne Triple, die auch ohne Flyscreen nice aussieht (meiner Meinung nach ;-) ) Ansonsten anscheinend nen Mega Bike, wie nicht anders zu erwarten und wie schon bei meiner '13er R damals im Vergleich zur normalen... an sich reicht die normale für Every Day Rider vollends aus, aber wenn ich die Wahl hät, würd ich natürlich die RS für den kl. Extra-Punch nehmen. Aber für nen 10er kannste bei der R auch mal gar nix gegen sagen! Bin gespannt auf das Gerät mal live zu erleben! PS: 2 Makel, die rein optisch sind... natürlich der KZH.... und dieses runde KatzenAuge Dings.... aber für beides kann ja Triumph nicht wirklich was ;-)

Hello. How is the on off throttle on the R?

Is it somewhat comfortable to pillion like for 30 km to 40 km? Or same as supersports bike?

I have a red one on order.

I'm torn between a new Trident and circa 2019 S or R as my first big bike. Could the trident do a track day, for a newer rider? My budget won't stretch to these beauties but then I think they are the next step up for me too, for now. Amazing bikes

Very good review. But would rather have an engine that the maximum power and torque can be had at much lower rpms.

Peppy, nimble, quick. Is it a realistic "sports tourer"? Range with small tank?

The yellow is a beautiful colour. There is one at my local dealer that I dare not go and look at! I've only had my Speed RR for a few months, and if I come home with a new baby I'll be taken down the divorce courts!!😄

As a Dane it really warms my heart to hear someone pronounce Öhlins correctly 👍

I put my money on a new white Moto2 edition!! A nice 60th birthday present to myself!! Should be delivered in June!

FYI the RS comes with the rear seat and the rear cowl.

More RPM (like more happy zone 😊), more braking power (brembo stylema) and better suited to the track day (moto2) 💛💛💛 and Cosmic Yellow is awesome 😄

I will try next year R version...for daily riding and small touring with SW Motech bags...So I prefer basic version more cause am not interested in tracks, ...

I love your reviews but I must have missed the pricing of these models. Anyone knows the RP of the R and RS in Euro? Thanks!

Where does it rank against its competitors overall? That's all it matters right now. It is priced as if it's a 900cc bike. Is it better than the MT09, 890 Duke R, Ducati Monster???

A great bike but I found the engine a bit flat compared to the Yamaha cp3
