Their quality sucks.

I've learned how to turn on a Slayer Pro. 3 years into Nitro and still love it. Running a O.S. 11k carb, O.S. Glow Plug, 30% nitro, 3 shoe clutch, ceramic clutch bearings, sway bar kit, 18 tooth bell clutch, 34 tooth Spur gear. Then put Revo A Arms on My Slayer Pro 3.3 She is a 57mph beast. 😊 2 Speed Baby

had my slayer pro for 15 years and has been used hard and still runs today, not original engine, but still many original parts. put some proline badlands on it and good to go.

I love mine! Done a few upgrades, only one video of it so far though!

You check the temp at the cooling head? I’ve noticed you can get a good reading at the glow plug. And I’m not sure how accurate the temp sensor is (telemetry).

HEY BUDDY! I would like to make a recommendation for you on the 2.5 you're running. Try to richen the low speed needle (turn it counter clockwise about 1/2 turn) and see how it responds. I find with a richer low speed needle tune the motor settles down a lot and runs better. Try that, let me know.. we gonna set you straight bro!!

Drive it for a while and the ez start one way bearing will go out and the clutch will fail horibbly cause traxxas uses a horrible 2 shoe clutch with a spring around it, where losi and other companys use a 3 shoe setup with individual springs on each shoe. Ive owned a revo 3.3 and my buddy owned a jato. Terrible cars. There electrics are great but nitros from traxxas suck. My losi 8ight buggy with pull start outlast these traxxas like crazy

I had to do clutches on my revo 3.3 every 5 tanks pretty well if I drove it hard and shimmed correctly to. Blew 2 3.3 and I decided to put a os.21 in it cause it cause it was direct bolt in. And man that motor never died on me, but the thing ate clutches even more at that point cause traxxas is trash for nitro😊

really people still want to use these dirty stinky noisy Nitro… Even the video you have to yell to try to be heard… And when you're breathing that exhaust it's really harmful stuff how you like it makes your eyes water real good hey… Just seeing this video was annoying the noise what crap… I don't get it but oh well it's just me. I hated Nitro many years ago I just thought those days were long gone. just running these cars is even bad for the environment think about pollution

Nice truck, my friend had one lot of fun. I'm not a fan of the gyro but it's quick and easy to turn off. My team associated trophy rat also came with a gyro and ended up disabling it

hey my dude! Happy to see you here! YEs, the Gyro which is called TSM in the traxxas models is not necessary, and can get annoying at low speeds. But I will tell you that when you full throttle it the gyro will keep this truck going fairly straight . I've thoroughly tested it and for straight launches on loose pavement, sand or gravel it keeps the nitro going straight well.
