I think people are confusing this with a management game or a tycoon or building game. It isn't - it's a puzzle game. When looked at through the lens of puzzle games, it's a pretty good one.

True, and the title of this video doesn'thelp at all, sadly. Steam has it listed in a "train puzzle bundle" which is very fitting imo. Seems to be a trend with cute looking little games like Islanders, Dorfromantik or Terra Nil which are often mistaken (or misrepresented) as simulation or strategy and not pure puzzle games.

Very glad I watched before I impulse bought it.

I could imagine if you like Train Valley 1 and 2 this might be something for you.

That's exactly what's drawing me to this game. Same vibe, less stress.

The levels are a good part of the game its a puzzle game not a management or simulation game; having full open sandbox would ruin it. You can make custom maps and play with or without money if u want to build and design tracks you want. The devs are also planning multiple new areas and levels within the next few months for free if i remember correctly.

8:15 Exactly this. The game looked very appealing and I had it wishlisted, but this mission map style of gameplay made me lose interest. I'd have much preferred a sandbox style game akin to Transport Tycoon or A-Train. This game unfortunately looks like it wants to be a mobile game that is over-simplified to fit a younger audience. I'll have to pass.

Dont knock Mobile games they are some pretty good strategy out there in all the nose of mobile games. Otherwise i saw this myself and thought this looks good with the voxel-art and like orbital prefer it to be more open end.

Ahhh.... That's a little disappointing. I was hoping this game would be more open ended, like you said, to just have a relaxing train playground to do whatever you wanted. Even if it was just a mode on top of the mission style.

the words rail and train shouldn't even be part of this game, all this needs is a connect the dots line tool.

Low audio

The concept of the game with levels is not good. The graphics are very nice. Strange connection mechanics, let's assume that they are transferring goods at stations.

meh, the rail layout of this game looks like crap imho. I'm sure the gameplay is fun but hardly realistic.

Don't play this anymore please. Game is not good, It's a puzzle game with bad mechanics. This title ie also not where the game stands for. It's not a transport game.
