Thank you so much for doing this video. I'm in Tokyo currently and today I went to Mitsuyado Ramen and the Rooftop Garden. Gosh the garden is even more beautiful at night 😍. And that ramen was probably the best bowl of ramen I've ever had (this is my 3rd visit to Japan!). I just loved the overall vibe of Ikebukuro. Really helpful video.
thank u brother amazing video
Wow, amazing video, by the far one of the best I saw in a while!

Thanks for the video Harb. I was planning to go to Ikebukuro next month just for Pokemon centre but now i see there are so many other things to see and do just in Sunshine city itself. Thank you! i have added many featured here to the list especially Namjatown and Mitsuyado ramen and ikeburkuro station rooftop.

Harb doing it again haha, dude seriously though, post Covid it seems like things in Japan changed a lot and many places that traditionally would’ve been recommended might not be anymore. Your stream of up-to date videos on recommendations for what to do when in Tokyo has been incredibly useful man in my planning, thank you

was in Ikebukuro few days ago: my favourite cool Tokyo suburb!
Awesome video! We have a layover (24hr) in Tokyo. Arriving in the evening and the departing the following night. While I have visited Tokyo many times, it will be my parent’s first time visiting the city/country. I am trying to figure out if we should stay in Shinjuku or Rappongi.
@harblife

Shinjuku. Gets you a direct line to the airports. Roppongi would be slower.

Hi Alex, nice video again with great tips! A couple of suggestions to improve the usability of your content : The video's chapter markers would be *so* much more useful if they wouldn't have generic names. Thatch seems pretty useless to me, the interface is confusing (often you can't even tell from the video thumbnail and the title that's too long which list it is), and it should be much easier to just directly jump to the place on Google Maps. I think you and your content would be served much better with lists for Google Maps. Keep up the great work!

Hey Stephan thanks so much for your feedback. I have been pondering putting in depth chapters for the videos, but sometimes the chapter titles can get super long. I will experiment and see if it works out though. You have a point about Thatch. It seems like great app to utilize in the future, but it's brand new and has some growing pains it need to adjust. But also, copy and pasting google maps could be confusing. I will ponder these points though so thanks for your points!
I stay in Ikebukuro everytime i am in Tokyo . I do like the area very much and would prefer if all you extra tourists would continue to overlook it ;)
I'd like to go to the anime cafe and honey 🍯 cafe , great video guys

Lmao I wouldn't even think of buying one of those XD. But yes, it is definitely a really cool store to visit!
Thanks for your content, it's very useful ! Just a recommandation (don't take it personnally, I don't want to be mean) , but please stop talking like an advertising. Just talk naturally, it would be much more enjoyable.

Hey there! Thanks for your constructive feedback! I have been doing the announcing voice to help keep myself more energetic and animated when I speak. But I will start testing out videos with a more relaxed voice, and see how the audience responds to it. Thanks again for stopping by. Are you planning on visiting Japan soon?
I'm staying in Ikebukuro because it is so much cheaper than the other places and is only 10 mins away by train
Excellent video! Looking forward to Sunshine City and the Hachi Kuma Cafe. Perhaps the biggest recent news is Japan lifting their mask mandate next month and i'll be flying in around that time. Will you be doing a video regarding Japan lifting their mask mandate?

Google says that Hachikuma Cafe is now Permanently Closed, but their website is still live. Has anyone been there lately?
Going to Japan in a few months now and decided to check out Ikebukuro on your suggestion. I checked and since we are staying in Akihabara and it says it'll only take like 37-40 minutes and 200 yen. Not too bad. This is my second time going and I didn't see nearly enough last time I went. Just trying to figure out the easiest and least expensive way to get to USJ from Akihabara now too. Also you said Minor Academia....I think you mean My Hero Academia or Boku no Hīrō Academia in Japanese. XD

Glad you checked out Ikebukuro! Did you find it useful? I am pretty sure I said My Hero Academia, but maybe I didn't pronounce it well enough -- sorry!

I must be getting old. lol Found a good way to USJ too, taking the bullet train there and back, but staying in Osaka an extra day and a half to explore after USJ. Leaving for Japan May 8th.
Have book my ticket for Japan this week 6 October to 1 November.

@@harblife how can make a reservation online for the Train ? Is ist only possible if i buy the Ticket online Form their site ? I bought it from somewhere else and got a voucher that i have then to echange.
Just way to much to do in Tokyo. So much to see, taste and do. Going to be some tough decisions made as I will only have a few days at most. Since Japan has reopened for business there has been a plethora of these videos, which has been both excellent and a tease due to my time constraints.
