13:40 was my favorite! 100% agree with not being scared to deviate from your carefully planned itinerary. Tokyo is huge and has so many things to do! After my crazily crammed 10 days in Japan and countless hours of youtube research, this is truly the best video out there.

I’ve been to Tokyo 3 times and still learned things from your video - and your advice about starting off the path and it’s ok to deviate from a detailed itinerary is so true.

I’m trying my best to NOT have an Itinerary since my boyfriend just wants to freely explore and so do I. We don’t want to feel stressed with trying to keep up with events preplanned, but I want to go to ALL the places in your video!! Haha thank you for your in-depth video 😁

Hi! The average temp in March is between 5-14 degrees C (41-57 degrees F), so I recommend you bring some warm clothes 😃
did the chain restaurants like Kura sushi need reservations in advance?
@kringlacson

Hi! Kura doesn’t take reservations in advance, just walk in or download their app and join the waitlist for the day. It’ll take a few mins before you’re called out.

Hi, i noticed your partner has tattoos. Did he have any issues with them? I am traveling there this summer and have a large tattoo on my calf and was hoping i could wear shorts all the time.
@kringlacson

Hi! It was fine, he didn’t run through any issues and we didn’t see anyone be intimidated by his tattoos either. The only place it could be discouraged is in the public bathhouses/onsen. The one we went to in Fujikawaguchiko (outside of Tokyo) had a sign that said large tattoos weren’t allowed. The other ones we went to in Kyoto and Osaka were fine, though!
Kabukicho area is good for clubbing and nite life...

Yes! Just need to be careful in Kabukicho and not get too drunk :)
Why do all the guides to Tokyo list all he same attractions. I also feel if this is what you think are the top attractions of Tokyo you don't know much about Tokyo. there is so much. more to Tokyo that you completely missed. So many of the so called guides to Japan have nearly no knowledge or interest in the countries rich history, art, literature , religion i.e. culture! Let me tell you anime is not the height of Japanese culture by the way. Talk about a completely superficial guide to this amazing country. and this amazing city. If I see one more image of shibuya crossing I will barf!
