Bookshelves finally having a purpose. Sniffer winning the Mob Vote... Gonna guess that you'll need either 4 or 9 Bamboo sticks to craft the Bamboo Plank in order to craft its other craftable items like the raft. The addition of the camel as well fits so well since there are only a few passive mobs in the dessert. EDIT: Forgot about the hanging signs... I only see them on mods and now that they're in the game, there will obviously be a lot of updates in multiplayer servers that use medieval theme.

I'm most excited for the Sniffer to be added. It's a prehistoric dinosaur thought to be extinct, but now is being brought back to life from finding Sniffer eggs in underwater ruins, and can sniff and dig up the ground for prehistoric seeds to grow ancient plants, plus it looks so cute! The Sniffer immediately had my vote with the amount of lore it has as well as all the new stuff it provides. Can't wait to have Sniffers live in my village while I decorate ancient plants everywhere.

since the update is currently unnamed, and they also revealed that the community is helping along side Mojang in making the 1.20 update (at least that's what I heard). I think it would be great for them to call the update, "The 1.20 Community Expansion Update". Just to show appreciation to the community.

Since they are rafts, I think you should be able to link multiple rafts together, potentially making a very large raft.

@@Jhgames2008 Okay, you can just go away with your annoying opinions. Yes, it would be cool to have another golem, but the tuff golem is far more useless than "another useless cute animal". All it does is walk around with 1 item in hand. That's it. With the Sniffer, we get something to go with it, being ancient plants that it can find. And you can find the eggs underwater, which makes them more of a challenge to find. Tuff golems would probably just be made out of tuff with a pumpkin, like the other two golems. Now get the hell out of here before other people start attacking you.

I'm actually so excited for this update!! I love all of the things they've announced so far and I can't wait to see what else they add later :D

I'm mostly excited about the sniffer the camel and the bookshelf cuz those are basically aesthetic for Minecraft to me also would be good for my SMP that's not done yet

we need vertical slabs, and the ability of mixing slabs on top of each others. It'll make building MUCH easier

The camels look very good and useful. I'm looking forward for them as my pet.

They said they wanna keep updating minecraft for a lifetime, so for like 50 years from now it's probably gonna be like Red dead redemption 2 minecraft version.

We should be able to recognize which book is which in the new book shelves because for example if you forgot which shelves you put you’re enchanted book, you would have to take out every books in the shelves just to find the book you’re trying to find.

The bookshelf feature had me excited to try my hand at a reconstruction of hollow bastion from kh1. Also a library maze would be cool!

omg i haven't been this exited for an update in a while! these seem like fun features, just good extra details and game depth!

Fun fact: llamas and camels belong to the same family called Camelids. Traits they share is a split upper lip, a third eyelid, and they both spit (though not nearly as often as people think)

He really stretched 6 features into "40"

If camels also can be equipped with chests like llamas,mules and donkeys and still hold 2 players that means you can have a boat with 3 players and a storage too. Also can be used with minecart

I'm excited for the SNIFFER and all that comes with the territory of the mob

The walk animation for the camel seems a bit jarring to me. Maybe because they don't have knee joint. Not gonna lie, the mob vote is pretty one sided for Sniffler. They kinda glossed over the other 2 while Sniffler is a bit more detailed explanation wise.

They need to work on a rowing animation for the player character, same with horses

This update is great I like how they are toning down the amount of content. Less is more

This next update is gonna be awesome! BTW, I voted for the Sniffer, super happy it won!

I don’t know if this is going to happen but it would be funny and maybe abit dangerous if you get to close to an untamed camel to fast it should kick you with one of its legs and take quite abit of damage and if you hit the camel it should do a powerful kick and kill you instantly if you have no armour

it would be soooo cool if hanging signs get some physics like it would move when its hit by a snow ball or arrows i'd say its would be great

I feel like anyone with some coding skills could create this level of an update...an entire production team is behind this stuff, so I can't help but feel like the rate at which we're receiving upgrades to the game is incredibly lackluster. I feel like by now, all biomes should have been enhanced to a point at which Mojang could focus on adding new stories, biomes, dimensions, etc...just overall really disappointed with the game rn. I want to suggest that the new update's name is "The Culture Update" since they seem to have features that represent where people live. AS they mentioned in it too. And all these features seem cultural to me too xD
