Looool Gabriel was cracking me up. "We aren't gonna concede one evasion" team concedes an evasion in the first match. "This should be a learning curve for mvmntm" gets evaded twice by the jamaican guy and loses😂😂😂😂

Kyle did definitely upgrade since the last time. That first time Amos was with them it felt like Kyle was overthinking too much or something. It feels like his original ability and the tactics that come with Amos have upgraded him finally, there's an ease that he started off with, with a better decision making than before. Excellent stuff.

Also he is embracing his ego. Knows he is hot shit 🔥 got 2 hatricks in the group stages. Easily the best player in World chase tag. He has shown up in every tournament for the past three years in 5 tournaments. Being the best in nearly all of them

I think Dale's improvement is so underrated. His skill, comprehension/anticipation, and strategy have improved dramatically. So many smaller, newer, or lesser known teams showing what they're made of lately, and this competition was no exception

Solid group, surprising to see HF have a harder time with Rise than with the other teams here. Matthew looks like a really solid pickup for them that might help a bit with the overreliance on Kyle though. Really impressed by Mvmentvm and excited to see them go up against District since both teams had some solid players and unorthodox lines for newcomers. Didn't always go his way, but Sukhan remains one of the most exciting players to watch, the speed and scrambling ability he has is unreal - Talons and Grey are going to be a fascinating match as well. Feel like SoFlo and 215 got some very tough matches coming their way in the semis, but will see how those turn out!

Man seeing Kyle dominate like that in the evading department, I can't think about anything else than wanting to see him try and evade Haroon. Best chaser in the history of the sport vs probably the best evader. The Apex Moon guys are great evaders, Davis is a great one, some French players are really great, Orlando and Xavia (he holds the record of evasions as well) too are top class but I think Kyle is probably number 1.

@@ryanford1 Yeah Michael is amazing too, I think he wasn't ever evaded as well. I don't know about being #1, but they're both probably there. Wes Preston wasn't evaded until now too but I wouldn't put him in the top chasers list anyway.

Can't help but disagree on Omar - as far as I can tell, man is a star (as much as Amos is, if not more). Dale however... is Dale, afraid there's no changing that at this point. If anything Wes is looking more sketchy than both of them combined at times. But in him I could be convinced to trust. Maybe. No offense to anyone mentioned - still my favourite team, still gonna root as hard as I can for them.

Once you notice how often they talk about the "strength", "power", "athleticism" etc. about the black runners, and the metaphors/similes to animals ("he barrages", "like a...") you can't unhear it. I've noticed this for a while lmao. I had this episode on in the background and every time they described a runner a certain way I just knew it, and every time I turned around to check the screen it was without fail.

I don't know whether it was directed at the opponent or not. I think it was more a general shout to hype himself up while he happened to look at his opponent. (because he was also looking at the air and stamping the floor moments before) If you do it intentionally aimed at your opponent then I would consider it bad sportmanship.
